This school is shit. None of the students feel protected. My year 7 daughter and her friends were threatened to get bashed by this other year 7 called N*** Stowers. They didn’t do anything wrong and the other girl still tried to pick a fight with them. This girl has her sisters older friends and the older kids are threatening everyone. When my daughter and her friends told the deputy principle they didn’t do anything about it. This is not acceptable. Children should feel safe in school. They shouldn’t feel threatened or scared. Every school is supposed to be a safe environment.

I have found BGHS an excellent school for my child for many reasons. My child lets me know things about the school quite often and over the years and how they are doing. They are very happy there and find the teachers to be kind, helpful, supportive and interested in their wellbeing and academics. My child is thriving at BGHS. The school offers an incredible amount of different programs and opportunities for all students regardless of their situation or experience. As with all schools, you come across students who cause issues or continually create trouble. Rest assured, BGHS is proactive in dealing with bullying and they do this very well with fairness and transparency after finding out all information. Bullying, causing issues for others and bad behaviour is a choice. Those very few who complain, best watch their negative and unwanted behaviour because they exhibit this to their peers daily and can't hide their true colours. Once they get out in the real world they will see that it's not accepted in workplaces or society in general. I highly recommend BGHS and thank them for being a truly wonderfully diverse school with great opportunities and for taking great care of my child from their emotional and mental health to their academics and everything in between. I will always highly recommend this great school!

There is a lot of graffiti and they bullying problem is big and the teacher don’t do a thing about it.
