评论 | By Parent - 07 May 2025, 评价: 较差 | Frustrated, disillusioned, disheartened, disappointed. Last year I would have ranked the school much higher. Now, I am sad to say it is very poor. Very poor communication. Senior staff members do not reply to your emails or phone calls. Some even refuse to meet with you! This is not acceptable! It is true that there is bullying at the school and it goes unaddressed, despite parents taking the matter up with senior staff. My child has come home with bruises and scratches on his back. When I spoke to the then deputy principle, she did not follow up. She was not very interested. My childs' teacher told me it was not bullying and asked me not to use that term. My child had been pushed and thrown down on equipment by older students, on more than one occasion, and this was deemed as not being bullying and was never acted upon The structure has since changed. Now there is a Director of Primary. Unfortunately he does not reply to parents emails or return calls. He will only reply to what he deems to be important. If you say something he does not like, he gets angry. Very unprofessional. This is a new position and at the beginning of the year he attended a three day camp with the high school, rather than take care of the primary school which is his job. There is a lack of communication. There are significant changes made and as parents we are not informed. The communication is so poor, that even some staff members are unaware and not informed of the changes. There is a lack of consistency in policy implementation, especially by senior staff members. The Dean of Infants refuses to work towards the child's best interest. She has clearly demonstrated a lack of interest in student academic development. Like many, she has been there for many years and has become too comfortable in her position. The Dean of Primary appears to do a better job. Some of the teachers are exceptional and if your child gets one of those, they are very fortunate and the child and parents will be happy. We are told that what happens with a child's academic development is dependant on the teacher. For me, this is fundamentally wrong! There should be consistency in teaching and in the teachers meeting the best interest of the students. I am aware of about 8 sets of parents who have removed their children from this school since about mid 2024. These are students from year 1 to year 6. There are various reasons for their decisions, but a consistent reason is a disillusionment and dissatisfaction with the school and it's ability to meet the needs and best interests of the students. I know of students in year 5 and 6 who lack basic literacy skills, and of students in year 1 and 2 who still cannot read. Despite these issues, I have recently been informed by parents of children on the NDIS that the school has stopped their children accessing their therapist and supports during school hours. Please note that my review is based on the primary school. I do not have any dealings with the high school. However, if things do not change for the better soon, I have decided not to send my child to the attached high school next year, and will be removing my other children from the school. To parents looking to send their children to this school, I will say be careful. If your child gets one of the highly skilled, passionate and motivated teachers, you will be very happy. Unfortunately some of these teachers have taken leave. I just hope they return at the end of their leave. Last year, some of the poor performing staff in the high school, the primary school and the prep were weeded out and made redundant. I do hope this continues, because it needs to. Unfortunately some of the new staff, or old staff in newly created positions, are not performing at the high level expected. I hope this becomes a school of highly skilled and passionate teachers and senior staff | | By Student - 09 Nov 2024, 评价: 很差 | This school is unbelievably horrible. From the out dated teachers that have wrinkles and arthritis to the messed up equipment, this school is absolutely disgusting. They said I'm autistic and act like a monkey and built like one because I'm different skinned toned.Such a dissappoint just like what the parents of the teachers were thinking.
