This school is unbelievably horrible. From the out dated teachers that have wrinkles and arthritis to the messed up equipment, this school is absolutely disgusting. They said I'm autistic and act like a monkey and built like one because I'm different skinned toned.Such a dissappoint just like what the parents of the teachers were thinking.
Kind Regards, Bobby Sharwama

This school is full of favouritism, if you want to get Bullied come to this school cause I can guarantee you it will happen. It’s all about getting the top students ahead and who cares about the rest because they’re just dumb.

This school is all about favouritism, the teachers only care about what you look like and what heritage you come from. The main focus of the school is how you dress or how you look for e.g we are forced to wear blazers and our hair has to be all same length around. Don’t even get me started on the office people the lady at the front desk doesn’t even care if your hurt or need someone to talk to she is only just there to gossip and Bankstown.

My child is not happy at this school! This school only cates about what they look like on facebook and twiter, and then when they take the camera away from the students, they do the wrong thing! Also the school fees are too expensive, they only pocket the money and they never use it to make the school better, for e.g: They don't consider even adding grass to the primary area only in the kindergarden area. It is like they would rather keep the younger children safer! And not to mention their poor staff, the lady in the sickbay area always says that my child goes there too much, and she is always rude to parents! I hate this school!

It is true the school is discriminatory especially against vulnerable students. Some teachers have their favourites and the methods of discipline and teaching would be unacceptable in mainstream schools. I have witnessed teachers judging students by their family status. I send my children there because of the Orthodox Faith yet a lot of the teachers and administrative staff were far from Christian in their approach. My children were encouraged to be Greek rather than espouse the Orthodox faith and live according to the values of Christ. I was very proud when St Euphemia College was established and disheartened by the way it has developed. My children were both compromised by the teachers yet they obtained University undergraduate and postgraduate degrees contrary to the advice given by some teachers. May God Bless all the St Euphemia students and have mercy on some teachers that should be forbidden to guide young lives at St Euphemia College. Teaching is only for the few who love young people and encourage them to meet their outmost potential not to hinder student's ability and dreams.

worst school ever do not send your children here. There is countless favouritism between the teacher's students which shouldnt go there in the first place. Worst office staff who speak to you like trash. Eg once when i went the secretary didnt even acknowledge my existence and when she finally did she said "what do you want?". This is unnacceptable and rude. I took my kids out of that school and they finally flourished.

I have had my child in another school. Child was put into st euphemia of which child has excelled. The teachers he has had are great. I have been able to communicate with the teachers and also become a better parent. They have helped the child do far better than the child was doing. As for the winges maybe they should have a look at themselves? They need to remember with every one finger they point there are 10 pointing back at them. Maybe the critics should choose another school instead of posting rubbish about a school that is achieving results for its students. After all why are they sent to school in the 1st place? Comments of the pressure put on students? Wait until they enter the real world.Good luck critics maybe you should post your future careers as feedback.

I have children in primary and high school at this school and I am satisfied that they are achieving their potential. Other members of my extended family have attended this school and they have all achieved good results. I think it is a good sign that many teachers in the public system choose to send their kids here. The bad things about the school are that there are no sporting facilities and I do not like the what may be perceived as nepotism in hiring relatives of other staff or young ex students (whether it is actual nepotism or not) . Both the principals of the Jnr school and Snr School have family members on staff. This just looks wrong and should have been avoided. It is not a family business.

Absolute worst excuse of a school, I studied at saint euphemia and had to leave due to getting bullied which every teacher, office staff and principle knew about. Mr Hirakis was too busy to ‘arrange a meeting’ and teachers were always too busy or had better things to do. Office staff are the laziest people I have ever met, they have absolutely no idea what is going on or how to do anything. Don’t even bother calling the school for any kind of information because they will all be on their lunch breaks at Centro Bankstown for half the day or gossiping about other staff member or students families ( only thing they are good at ). I do not recommend sending your children to this school because it’s a ‘Greek school’. Nothing about it is good, you might as well put your children in the public system and they will gain a higher amount of knowledge. There is probably only 3 teachers that genuinely care about the students well being and studies. They claim to be a ‘religious school’ which clearly they are very far from. All the staff care about is how the students look and how the school looks. E.g all students must wear blazers even outside of school, hair must be tied back even if it’s shoulder length, socks must be a certain length, boys must be cleanly shaved every single day even if they shaved the day before ect. Like I said I strongly do not recommend sending your children to St Euphemia College.

Great school
Parents need to have more respect towards all staff as they worked their back sides off to teach our children.
Do parents ever think how hard and how much patients you need to have so many kids under your wing to teach them and be with them so many hours
You get treated the way you treat others
Try to be more supportive and work as a community altogether and you might see results instead of put downs

I'm pretty sure the only reason this school wants its kids to go good in their HSC is to give the school a good name so that the principal gets more money in his pocket at the end of the day. For a private school, its teachers, equipment, resources ect all range from unacceptable to extremely unacceptable. These people care more about how their students are dressing rather than how they are performing. As long as they can stick their top ten in the covers of their magazines by the end of every years HSC, they're happy, the rest can suffer.

As a parent we all want the best for our children. The 2 years I have been at this school I am very disappointed at the lack of disregard for bullying at the school .ALL swept under the carpet not good enough our children should be safe when at school we are trusting you with our children. No grass the children are told not to run what they are children. Always hand out for money every week we are asked for more money.very disappointed needs to be better run.

Considered the best in the area. 6 out of 40 year 6 kids got into selective schools but all 6 kids chose to go on to year 7. I have 3 kids at the school and my wife and her sisters went there and they all cleared ATARs of 90. They pick up individual student needs and focus on helping them achieve their potential what else can you ask for. For example my eldest son is now getting marks in the 90s after struggling at a Catholic school. The school needs a sports oval.

This school suffers from the want to have their boys look like carbon copies of each other except for "some" rare and might I add, unfair, cases. This school clashes with my views of equality so hard that I feel blunt pain in my head just thinking about it.
Sure boys can't have piercings because it is a Christian school and in the Bible it says you are not allowed to pierce your flesh but then shouldn't that extend towards the girls of the school to? Unless your argument is that piercings are for girls in which then I'd reply piercings are just metal through the flesh, they could be anything you want them to be.
Now for the hair issue! Oh boy the hair issue, aint this a fun one!? Boys aren't allowed long hair because it doesn't look neat. Well then tell me why you haven't told all the girls to shave their heads yet either? How come they have neat hair and not the boys with long hair? Boys with long hair CAN look neat. And if your hair is too short, you aren't welcome until that hair grows back. I'm starting to believe that the boys aren't forced to do this to look neat but to appease the personal preferences of the people in charge. The only time you can have long hair is if your sibling represents the school.
Now to the homework issue. I'm not sure if all schools do this but homework on the weekends and assignments on the holidays is just an idiotic idea for all schools in general. I myself am against the idea of homework for my own personal reasons but I am speaking for all students (and hell some teachers) when I say homework on the holidays is ludicrous! I thought holidays were meant to be a time where students relax and have a break without the worries of school carrying weight on your shoulders. Well not until my class was given assignments to do over the holidays that require occupation throughout the two weeks of holidays to properly complete! I just...
This school puts so much pressure on it's students whilst stripping away any sense of originality from the boys of that school. The school has pushed me up and over the hill that I'm seriously considering changing schools.
This school also expects parents to fork out money from their wallets to the point their wallet bleeds and begins to cry for help. My parents once had to pay four fees in a row. I seriously believe that if I were to change schools my parents would be richer an far better off.
Well that sums up my little rant. I'm off to bed.
Kind Regards, a Fed-Up Student.

Favouritism. Out-dated teaching methods. Discrimination. Poor and unorganised co curricular. It seems that the noble causes of St Euphemia's founder have been replaced by the greediness of the current personnel and their siblings. As long as the cast of the few prevails who cares for the real assets of this school...such a same....

The school given its limited material resources is a champion. Our students are great achievers and they should be congratulated for their efforts. And it is not expensive it is a school that encourages students to reach the higher heights. Congratulations to the class of 2013. I'm so proud of our school. Strive for Excellence girls and boys always.
