Where to start? The school has too many problems. So many fights happen here, and in May (2021), we had 8 fights, and it wasn't even Wednesday. The amount of times the police have come to this school is surprising. My time at ESC, the police have come to the school at least like, 15 times. Some of the teachers are extremely rude and mean. Some teachers don't help you if you ask for it. The amount of bullying that happens between teacher and student is disgusting, but just normal bullying (student and student) is revolting. Please think before sending your children here, and I hope my review helps you. |

Im sorry. The last time I checked SCSA's website, ESC's ATAR average was considerably lower than HCC's. If you actually looked, HCC's average is closer to 90. Trinity college is for posh ass rich people, that does not mean it is guaranteed to be the better school. If you really wanna make comparisons, compare your pathetic excuse of a school to the likings of Perth Modern if your that 'prestigious'. |

Screw you guys, you rip on Holy Cross but our Median ATAR is higher than that of Trinity college, ours is 88.3, while yours is 72.35, so um, who's getting a better education and gonna go to uni and have a good job that is not cleaning dog shit out of a toilet... |

Wow, I cannot believe people would even attempt to defame such a prestigious private college such as Holy Cross. Although you parents believe that your children are 'happier', what they really do is spend the whole day learning how to use snapchat in a better way. Snapchat will get you so far in life, as it provides the community with a level of sophistication! Im kidding. All I ever hear is; students yelling during tests, students having s** in the bathrooms, school exams cheated on, school property damaged and so much more. What shocks me even more, is the fact that children who attend this school spend a huge portion of the time around HCC more than they actually do at their school. Only recently, a teacher from HCC was forced to remove ESC students from the premises, for safety precautions. It is appalling to what levels this school goes. Discipline is the lowest of the low. Only recently, on Snapchat (surprisingly), a female student decided to urinate in plain sight, on Holy Cross's premises. Seriously, this is disgusting! Your children are all taking you for granted, they say they are happier, but in retrospect they are following the trends of being 'cool', where all thats different is the fact that they are allowed to do what they want with no restrictions, such as leaving school at lunchtime to get one of the famous 'Meat Boxes'. Other ways that prove the lowness of these children include, mocking Holy Cross students, they believe they are superior and we are just inferior scum (funnily enough), essentially breaking into school grounds during times of education and vandalising school property. For those who actually want to do good in life, always have the opportunity at every school they attend, this review in no way is defaming the schools educational standards or policies. If people actually want to strive to achieve their personal bests at this school, they are picked on for being 'nerdy', this infuriates me. I don't know why people are bullied for being smart, because, in actuality, these smart children will probably end up being the bosses of your own offspring. Ultimately, I just wanted address the delinquents who come on this website thinking that they are going to have a cool reputation/perception, because of the fact that they can talk very poor modern english. |

Technically the students at thi school are no more than ferrets. They can tell me they will tell their fathers but that is a threat and I will turn them into a weasel and insert their brain with ectoplasm while the mitochondria shuts down because mr burns said that he wasn't excellent at producing power. overall, the two-timing, scummy, filthy student body at this appalling school makes mr burns very sad and wants mr bean to consume rather toxic lima beans while a thumb sits on a thumbtack. To continue, I will ask where the book is then the wife will go it is a book and the greater good and stuff like tat, while the scummy little weasel is inserted into a crabs claw while it consumes the ribosome of one hyoos. Private school education is superior, the students at private school learn about how they should praise a dust-ridden book.

Overall our experience has been pretty good. Contrary to other comments here, we have found the staff to be helpful and understanding when needed. There are so many passionate and caring staff there, trying to do their best. The Music program has been wonderful and the facilities are very good. When you see students wandering into the office 1hr or more late with pathetic excuses such as "slept in" "missed my bus", it is no wonder that staff might seem unfriendly or disinterested at times. My experience - You get out what you put in people! If you don't like the education then leave or go pay huge sums to get a private school education. |

Pretty shocking, my daughter was placed into a math class last year where the teacher could not teach and didn't discipline the students. My daughter had to basically teach herself math while my husband tutored her. She came out of that class with a C, personally I think she deserved more because of all the effort she put into her education. The teacher lost her assessments and didn't mark the tests right, same as science, she had tests thrown at her even though she was not flight about the topic, she went to school 97% throughout thr whole year, and the school tried to Balme me as a parent for 'not ensuring my child understood what she was being tought'. I went to the school to talk about the issues I was concerned about, the office ladies are useless and the school made me feel like an inconvenience. My advise for the school is to get teachers who know what they are doing instead of coming into the unprepared and allow students the run the class. |

This school is so much better for my kid to be learning. He was originally at holy cross college. Which is a terrible school never send your kids here they brain wash them with religious shit that there is no need to learn in life. I see esc as a better school for my kids learning. |

I have really bad experience about this school. The teacher are having a little knowledge of subject and they are not helping the students. As a discipline the school is really one of the worst school in ellenbrook.I never rating this school good even the receptionist don't know how to deal with the parents. |

I am very impressed with this school! My child recently came out of Holy Cross as she was crying everyday when she came home from school and was very unhappy with the teachers and other students bullying her. She has made so many more friends and is much happier here. I definitely recommend to send your child here and if they go to Holy Cross to listen to what your child says about the teachers being rude and move them! |

I have to disagree with the other comments. My son attend Ellenbrook Secondary School and it had a detrimental affect on his life. There was no support for our son or family when he found things tough and from discussions with other parents I know I'm not the only person who feels this way. There was no contact with teachers unless I initiated it and I was made to feel like an inconvenience. I have had contact with a number of people that worked for Ellenbrook Secondary as Education assistance tell me from their experience at the Ellenbrook secondary they would never place their child there. My Daughter attends another high school in the area and the experience has been completely different. |
