Take negative reviews with a grain of salt, it’s an excellent school.
I would say this was written by Tracey or Ms Baynham. This school has shocking teachers who lie and support abusive men. Steer clear. They destroy lives. The Ed Department needs to get a new standards and integrity team. Just look on facebook "No accountability"

The rebuild is a shambles. Student numbers have dropped precariously. No BSC or ASC offered as there us no space.

so many young boys labelled as needing an assessment / behaviour issues. If 1/3 of the boys in a kindy class have 'behaviour issues' in class, maybe it is the teacher who needs to be assessed?!

The old principal was so much better than the new one. Lies and kicks children out of the school. 3 children at 5 years old. Suspends 5 year olds. No care for children. A terrible school which I don't think realises is a public school in a public area. The funding should go towards new admin staff and a new associate principal and principal. Obviously the above report was written by a teacher at the school as the admin staff have been there for years. A case of complacency and corruption

What an absolutely amazing school vibe coming out of Hillarys Primary School. The new admin team and principal have really listened to parents and are doing an amazing job. It’s very satisfying to hear that after years of a lack of funding and a principal that wouldn’t listen they have managed to turn it around . Great stuff . Keep up the great work.

After many years of dilapidated school in a so called blue ribbon seat , we are finally getting a new build thanks to a Labor government and a very proactive and supportive new principal.
The school children are so excited as is the community. Happy times .

An absolutely appalling way that parents are spoken about by this school. I believe they have just received $20 million for an upgrade. They should look at upgrading the principal and deputy. Disgusting. Lying about many parents. I think there will be a huge investigation into many complaints that will soon be uncovered into just how many years this school have been doing this. No best interest of any children. Awful school.

The new school principal is shocking. The Deputy seems to lack insight and I think there are some serious issues with this school thinking they can just lie to suit their own agenda and have little concern for education. It's all about how they portray themselves.

What an amazing school. The new principal seems to have a grasp on what’s actually going on. The teachers are moved around from year to year and as enrolments and children numbers change . Last year saw the school get some much needed facilities and improvements in many areas even with covid taking place . We are looking forward to a new school build towards the end of this year . The P and C are just fabulous. Happy times .

What a terrible school. No idea about actually supporting parents and children, an emphasise on the teachers on making judgements and reporting on parents to various authorities when they have little information. I agree with the above comment. I have first hand seen the school suspend a pre-primary school student for 3 days for just really needing some attention. Instead of looking at the problem (ie the teacher and het lack of ability) they suspend a 5 year old? Do not trust this school. They write shocking reports on parents and make judgements and assumptions about situations. There is a terrible pre-pre-primary school teacher who should actually have her qualification taken off her. She spends more time reporting on parents than actually teaching and returned to work a few months after having her baby felt the need to criticize and judge parents she knew nothing about. I saw it happen time and time again. Do not send your children here.

Whilist there were a few good teachers who wanted to be there. The others really were just waiting on retiring. School really needs to up date it's teacher skills, and get out of the Stone Age. Worst policy for behaviour issues in children, they really didn't know how to handle bright children or disruptive. Contact between parents and teachers terrible as they were not aloud to email contact. My children have changed schools, and I must say they are glowing with confidence and love to go. As appsed to the teachers thinking he is terrible at school. And had learning difficulties! (Which was aloud of rubbish).
'If a child can't learn the way you teach, then maybe we should teach a child a way they learn.'
I'm , rate this school
