The school doesn’t treat children fairly.

Good school, i get bullied often. The teachers do care and show respect.

We have just joined this school community and am so glad that we did. We have felt so welcome and the staff are very caring. Our daughter is so happy to come to school each day.

I agree with the last post. My children love this school and all the staff are very caring. We have had no issues with our child in their class.

Having read the above posts I was quite hesitant to explore this school further. I am glad I trusted by gut and went for a personal tour of the school. I was able to speak with the Enrolments Registrar as well as several teachers. My child didn't want to leave!

My son has suffered the depression and the anxiety of going to school since attending Northside Montessori School, The New Principal and all the teachers are hopeless and do not care about the kids at all.
I cannot agree more with the comments below that the children can only learn when they feel secured and safe. Montessori is a way of teaching but the most important element of a school is the quality of the teachers.
Trust me, dont ever send your kids to Northside Montessori School!!

Northside has been very good for my children who have been there since they were toddlers. However, I am very unhappy about the degree of teacher supervision, delivery of authentic Montessori education and the rate of staff turnover lately with no reassurance about the future.

Things are quite unsettled and there's lots of talk about teachers and other staff not really caring about the kids. Things seem to be unfair for some. They forget that our children's well-being is most important not just the Montessori method. Good education can only be effective when kids feel happy. I hope the teachers read this.

I think the school responds well to issues when they are raised. We have had no problems.

My son is the 3-6 class for 3 terms now. I have decided to withdraw him. Bullying is so common even in 3-6 class. And the teacher didn’t seem to do anything about it. The teachers are so inexperience and hopeless. Not to mention the turnover for the staff including teachers are extremely high!

Some children in 3-6 have too many issues. Care is OK. Our child is bullied a lot but teachers don't really put a complete stop to it. Not sure I'd recommend it but far better than childcare.

The Montessori approach is really good for pre school kids but it depends on the teacher. There's definitely one teacher that i would not want for my kid. The older children in primary seem to be a bit wild, some of them seem strange. But i'm happy for now with pre school. Im not sure that all the teachers are very experienced.
I'm , rate this school
