If this school is turning away your child without providing taking the time to make reasonable adjustments to accomodate them, they are breaking the law. See Disability Standards. All children are entitled to education, this school cannot turn a child away because of a disability or low language ability without providing adequate reasons. You can take this issue to your ombudsman. Education is not just for "normal" children of high SES parents.

This is an excellent school and is rated in the top 50 primary schools in NSW. I dont understand why the previous poster would not want to contribute school fees to their childs future. It is this sense of entitlement that this person is actually raging against. It sounds like they need to stop feeling sorry for themselves and contribute to this excellent school!!!

This school is one of the worst schools to care about children with learning difficulties. They will shove you off startign with the office staff who are incredibly rude and arrogant. The teachers dont care and they will not communicate with the educators who are trying their best in resolving the issues for your child. The school also operates a disgusting scheme of collecting funds through way too many social functions, where drinking is allowed in an environment that should encourage alcohol free zone for the well being of the children. In addition, god forbid if you dont have the time to contribute towards these social acitivites, your children will be discriminated against and their needs will not be met appropriately. Try somewhere else, specially if you come from a non- english speaking background. Furthermore, public schools are not supposed to even send reminder notices for school fees how dare they to demand fees! ITS A PUBLIC SCHOOL!!!
