So mostly it's great beside some group of kids who usually think their cool but are being mean to others. Once someone
E in grade 3 someone strangled someone with a hoola hoop. Good thing it has been stopped.

It's good, solid. But this class has been a nightmare cause i have a really bad teacher. It's quite annoying but other than that the extracurricular activities are so fun, we get to perform and go on trips so thats good. also the design of the new building is really good

I used to go to this school and it was good except that some of the kids there are just inappropriate, they do they graffiti and once someone got strangled by another kid in my grade last year , it’s true there’s a good modern schoool though

My daughter used to study in a private school nearby. She was bullied and I enrolled her in this school. This school is different to her old school in many ways. Their school is nurturing and her teachers always takes good care of her. Her classmates are friendly and works and learn together as a team. She loves the challenges she had in this school such as public speaking, choir, painting, writing script for plays, trip to Canberra instead of her “language camp” in year 4, opportunity to sing together in Opera House, Maths Olympid with tuition in school, GotGame sport program etc. If I know the school can offer these, I would have enrolled her from Kindy. BTW, she learns Mandarin for free. The school is rebuilding and the new school has indoor basketball court and all new facilities. It offers the best learning environment for local students.

I have been at this school for a while now it's not the best, but it's not the worst they hold SOME fun thing and other rather annoying. but overall it's a great school.
Some teachers are a bit bad in my opinion but hey that's just me

All of my children went to ultimo public school. The teachers are all supportive and they have all helped my children learn new things. They provide extracurricular activities like band, choir, recorder, debating, table tennis, taekwondo, swimming training, soccer training, cricket training, rugby league, oz tag, soft ball and basketball training which have all increased my childrens confidence and fittness. The students there are all friendly and amazing and the principal is always positive.

I was an old student attending the school two years back, The teachers there are supportive and so very positive. My sister also went there and is now an artist with over 100, 000 fans. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Although it is moving locations sometime in the next decade.

I have been at ultimo for five years already and I think the staff are always positive and caring. I haven't had a single issue with any of the staff.

I have met the Principle, visited the school and was very impressed. But Parent 21 June is alarming! Does anyone with children in the school care to comment about the demographic? Are there significant problems that the teachers are having trouble handling?

My child started kindergarten at ultimo this year and I think it is a terrific school. Its a small school so has a real intimacy to it and the kids across all the grades seem to get on very well. I love the activities that my daughter is undertaking at the school and she is very engaged with these activities and her learning is progressing nicely. I find the principal very approachable and he has some very caring and compassionate teachers under his tutelage. The communication is very good and I am kept well informed of everything that is going on at the school. As a side note to the comments of the poster on 21 June 2014 my daughter was distressed by an action of an older student very early on in the year. This matter was dealt wIth superbly by the principal and the teacher. Great school !!!

A fantastic school. My daughter commenced Kindergarten this year and I have been so impressed. The teachers are caring compassionate proffesionals with a real passion for teaching. The Principal is an extremely approachable competent leader who leads by example and motivates and encourages students and parents to do their best at all time. The school is culturally diverse and Is an absolute credit to the community.

Ultimo public school I denfently would not recommend to any one with any family issues as this school can end up making them worse. Children hit each other and teachers don't care they tell them to go away. Teachers hitting students and nothink being done about it. Other parents don't speak up about it so no one really knows.
one teacher has been moved from teaching to a reading teacher because she can't control her self. Now she gets one on one time with the students, fantastic! She still to this day can not control her self she is that out if control and knows she can get away with it that she takes the year 1's book and throws them across the room when they don't listen screaming at them all the time, also slamming pencils on tables in front of the little children. I have complained and nothink was done but I was told my child was lying. another story you can not approach the princesable as he degrades and is very itimerdating at the same time. Most i have spoken to a few parents and they said this as well. He is not nice at all epically if u are not well of and do meet his standards also I know of other children that have been treated incorrectly but unfortunately the parent will not say nothink because they don't want there kids treated any differently as in more stuff being done to them because they said some think I am sure more goes on then I know as well. This school needs a good change of some teachers that also another thing I have picked up talking to other parents.
