During the 60's when Br Harding was principal I experienced significant physical abuse at the hands of Br Bible and Br Ansell, the trauma of which has lasted to the present day. I would not consider this institution as a suitable venue for children's education under any circumstances.

Always loved St James, went here as a kid and I'm so proud of my precious child Evan for thriving in this exceptional institution.

If 0 stars was a option it would be my first choice this school is disgusting I highly do not recommend the teachers are rude and unprofessional the school is full of criminals which the teachers do not know how to control. The deputy principal Martin wiseman is the most disrespectful and uneducated deputy. The school accepts many kids with health care problems yet fail to look after them, their left to run around alone with no supervision.

My Daughter goes here, this is her last year here. She moved from a different school, but this is the happiest I've seen her been. At the start, it may feel hard or scary, but it's a really excellent school. I recommend sending your child here, The teachers are good, most students are amazing. Their teaching structures are also amazing, and to the sports opportunity. Definitely try it out.

My experience as an employee of this school was terrifying. The behaviour of students (especially those of African descent) was atrocious. The worst part was that the new management allowed it to thrive and did nothing to support teachers. When I mentioned duty of care I was hounded and ambushed by Martin Wiseman the deputy, under instruction from the principal Ann Rebgetz. This school is a breeding ground for criminal activity and nepotism. Ann Rebgetz asked teachers to mark students up on assessments which is against the law and so unprofessional I was forced to leave the school. The stress levels of teachers is intolerable and three people left in the short period I worked there. Several students were involved in a murder that occured in Brisbane in 2020. Don't send your children to this school.

Under new principal sadly St James College has gone down him, students found thieving, fighting, helping and rude in and out of the school.

Students show no respect, especially on public transport. All other students are standing, while St James students take up all the seats, block the walk way and ignore the elderly standing.
