Absolute liters regarding boarding fees. We’re supposed to be cut by 40% through to year 12 and fees went up 10k

I attended Scots PGC College and was bullied daily. Teachers did nothing. Had rocks and fruit thrown at me, figured it was the norm. Often hid in the library or where no one could find me. Tried to participate in co-curricular activities to feel ‘included’ and make friends, seemed pointless. There are better schools you can send your children too within Warwick or elsewhere if you’re boarding.

Incredible levels of bullying in my time there, numerous students left never to come back, a few fled for their lives after being attacked in the school, no action of course taken against the attackers.
I left with PTSD and I know I was not the only one in my year who did. My vow the day I left was never to attend a reunion, so far 32 years on, promise kept.
FWIW I did have a few of my fellow students in a Facebook page (the less thuggish of my fellow students and included my fellow PTSD'er), but FB keeps popping up 'people you might know' which included many of the bullies from the school, to protect myself I had to defriend them.
Well done Scots...you constitute a warning to us all, that the book 'Lord of the Flies' isn't just a work of fiction, it's a manual.

Excellent school to have had the privilege to start my teaching career. Township of Warwick very welcoming as were the staff, parents and students.
