Some of the teachers should not be teachers. Some can hardly speak English and some swear using 4 letter swear words at the children and some throw students out of the class if they dare to not understand what the non-English teacher is saying. The principal is not fair either and will never allow a student to speak up and only listens to lies that teachers tell. There is no respect shown towards students.

This is the worst school I have ever been in! Students are super annoying, bullying classmates and teasing and gossiping girls! And also swearing everywhere and no sense of order, and full of vulgar and crude so called” jokes”.
The only good thing are the teachers, who are super nice, friendly and teach everything well, and the syllabus.

Good school! Inclusive environment, no fights, bulliying is easy to resolve and great sporting equipment. Nice library and ok classrooms. There are clubs you can go to at lunchtime such as a games club, reading club, unified and gay club. You should come here.
Only disadvantages are that the school is over crowded so its pretty easy to get sick. Not pleasant moving through over crowded walk ways and corridors. Lots of chewing gum stuck under tables and on the floor.People swear here and teachers dont do anything about it. Unfortunatley people are allowed to be on their phones at recess nd lunch meaning that its hard to find friens that are antisocial. We have to sit on the disgusting rubbish filled floor at Recess and lunch as there are limited clean seats/areas available.

i’ve been working at this school for a little bit now and i have noticed principles and other teachers do nothing but pick on certain kids and talk so bad about them behind there backs, other staff also talk down about the principal as he has proven he obviously can not do his job properly and targets certain kids who are amazing, respectful kids when you get to know them. the principal has recently suspended a few kids and has no evidence to what they’re suspended for when the kids have asked to see the camera footage the principal said they deleted it and still gave the kids a long suspension even though one of my colleagues said the footage can’t be deleted all round this school is definitely not the place to send your kids if you are looking for a good school around the hills area.

The best public high school in Sydney. My kid used to go to a private school which she experiences isolation, since she moved to this school she has so many excellent, dedicated teachers. She loves the school.

As a public school, CHHS teachers are very dedicated to students and teaching. All teachers will go beyond their comfort zone to make sure their students are happy at school and enjoy learning in the class. If a student falls behind in the class or behave differently, one of the teachers or the Year of Advisor will inform the parents directly. The G&T program at CHHS is so amazing and we see lot of changes in our kid since he started in this school. Overall, we are very happy with CHHS and hope that this school continues doing well in HSC. By the way, CHHS ranked 73 for 2015 HSC according to SMH. Congrats to 2015 HSC students!

A great school with an amazing sense of community spirit. The school has become a lot better of the past years, and I had a wonderful time there. No issues at all. Most teachers were dedicated and amazing and the overall atmosphere is friendly.

This school does not communicate very well with parents. When problems arise with your child they tend only to explain this issues at recording time instead of working towards ways of resolving the issues and communication with parents there is no teamwork at the school. Students are wonderful. However staff and doesn't let the school down.

I love everything about my school. It is so diverse and rich in ethnicities which makes it such a refreshing place to be. Now that I am in year twelve, I'm surrounded by a group of open minded individuals who have become so well rounded because of their experiences here. It's such a wonderful place to grow up - so wonderful in fact the teachers become, not only role models, but lifelong friends.
This is a wonderful place to send your child, I don't ever want to leave!
