I'm looking for any recent comments on how TIGS is for primary school now in 2020 and what it is like as a high school?

My sons attend TIGS (secondary). We are so disappointed with this school. There is no consistency with discipline, there is little follow through or support for students who are not keeping up with their work, and the students seem to have the balance of power rather than the teachers. Look elsewhere if you are seeking a good school.

I currently attend the Illawarra Grammar School, and i have to say that it is definatley not worth the money that my parents pay for me to attend this school. I agree that the principal is extremely bad, he has no idea how to talk to students and that the organisational system of the school is terrible. Especially now that the IB MYP thing has been introduced i find that i want to attend this school less and less. Perhaps i will leave the school. It's just not worth it

Not very impressed with the new school principal, very lay back and disorganised. Doesn't encourage teachers to perform well. look at the academic results now compares to 4 years ago, there is a huge difference, it is getting worse. not worth the money you paid for your kids to go to that school.
