Mrs Amina Fisher are you trans by any chance?

During the referendum the school library had a big banner telling us to vote yes.
Teachers reward the girls who are the trouble makers.
They get away with doing what they want.
Meanwhile the quiet students like me have to put up with them.
The school is very toxic

School has gone down the drain.
Students don’t get written feedback on their essays.
Instead they are told to read general comments on compass.
How are they meant to improve their marks?

the teachers care so much about uniform policy its scary. have been called lazy multiple times. get screamed at for asking questions in class. school itself isnt that bad its the teachers and some of the rules

being a student here feels like being in a detention center you can't, wear two earring let alone dare to talk in class. when trying to explain yourself teachers interrupt and don't allow you to explain the story. while getting in trouble you feel bullied by teachers. they talk to you rudely and not like a person, they have no respect for students. older years get in trouble for younger years faults as the teacher believe the younger girls. At this school you don't feel herd, you feel targeted, bullied and uncomfortable. Don't send your daughter here.

This school is horrible. It has a reputation for its toxic and nasty culture. The antibullying policy may be there and it looks great on paper but there is zero follow through. If some of these students behaved the same in the real world they would be criminally charged. I had to contact police regarding my daughters treatment, and the schools response? Nothing. For the sake of your childs mental health do not send them to tis school.

Reading previous review about Mr Lynch!
He is about the only teacher that calls a spade a spade!
No political correctness from him, says it how it is.
Taught all my girls and if anything he teaches them the students resilience because he doesn’t sugar coat everything.
Police called in to deal with an incident involving some boy being in the girls toilets.
Of course the student involved was not expelled!
Political correctness rules!
Mr Lynch for principal!!

During reconciliation week a “guest speaker “ told the girls to be brave ,make the change and vote against Australia Day.
Change the name to “invasion day.”
I was mortified and was going to contact the principal however my daughter was worried she would be targeted.
The school needs to focus more on Christian values and less on brainwashing these young minds.

I am absolutely disgusted on the teachers behaviour and towards my daughter. She is in Year 9 and is coming home crying almost everyday and it is only the start of the term. She is saying to me that they keep yelling at her and are treating her like crap. She goes to teachers (she trusts) and the school counselor but they tell other teachers and the principal/head teachers, etc about her problems, WHICH IS NOT ON! The students there are absolutely kind and generous but the teachers suck! I highly recommend not enrolling or letting your daughter into this school.

It's an amazing school in my personal experience my oldest already left and is super independent and I am incredibly proud of her education performance in her new workplace and attitude towards other. My other daughters are currently attending for now a couple of years and we have been supported in many ways including their caring counselor and coordinators the teachers are great and have a lot of patience and helped my girls when struggling due to family reasons. I recommend this school wholeheartedly.

i am appalled at this school's algorithm. the teachers and staff care more about the uniform and their appearance than the students. my daughter has been used as a sponsor and her mental has gone nothing but down. the kids here are toxic and gossip non-stop. i agree that the school's hsc scores are high but I'm worried for my daughter. She spends about 14 hours on her laptop a day and when I ask her what she's doing she breaks down and says work, I am worried about the workload she is being given. Overall the school is overrated and nothing but a big load of stress
By Student - 02 Aug 2021, Rate: bad
The workload is unmanageable and the teachers/staff do not do anything about it and most students are very stressed and anxious and only a small amount of help is given for mental health . The school cares more about the uniform/making students look presentable than the education. overall overrated school and cant wait to leave.
By Student - 02 Aug 2021, Rate: poor
the workload is unmanageable and when I spoke to my year coordinator, they didn't get the point. The teachers give too much homework and the assessments and assignments are difficult to complete with the teachers acting as if their class is our only class.

Ok, so first of all its school and education and friendship, yes it can be fun but in this school it is kind of boring and the lessons the teachers plan us is kind of boring.
I do not find the difference between the Newman and just normal academic because they learn the same things at the same time! Yes this school does have terrific/amazing HSC scoring in Australia.
We do learn amazing things at this school. The bathrooms are literally COVER in permanent marker. The girls in this school gossip and spread rumour's about one another.
Technically, for the students mental health and issues all the teachers provide is the school council and teachers. The school office for children in the staff room is incredibly amazing and the ladies at the counter are extremely nice and generous. There are good food options in the canteen, such as healthy, treats, drinks, gluten free, dairy free, ice blocks, eucalyptus lollies and much more. But it can be high priced some items. The school is a bit small but only when you know your way around. There are lockers for years 7-8 but there are no lockers from years 9-12, unless you rent one. Having no lockers can lead into terrible back conditions. But overall, in my personal opinion there are way more schools that are like this. But it is good for people that live in this type of area or live close to it.

My daughter said this school is a great school. They have great teachers that care about you, also when you struggle on school work they help you. I was thinking the girls would be toxic but I’ve meet most of them and they are very nice.

I love this school
By Student - 20 Nov 2019, Rate: excellent
This school is just amazing, the teachers and girls at this school are really nice and the year 9's are actually not that annoying and most of them are really nice!
Also, I feel that the school's uniform policy is reasonable and I feel that the school doesn't care as much about the uniform as much as used to and instead care more about their students.
And, Mrs Leask is a good principal. She is definitely not perfect (just like any other principal), but she is better than my primary school principal (if you had him, you would want Mrs Leask back).
I strongly disagree with the comment below me and I think the girl who had wrote the question below me should be careful making threats and comments about people like that as one day, her comments could come and haunt her. I might sound like I am one her parents but, I think this it is important that people have common sense and be careful about the comments people make online and in real life. Especially in this age of political correctness where anything you say is easily misinterpreted and can lead to people losing their jobs and not being able to find one because of these things.
I understand not liking the school you go to, I absolutely hated my primary school but I did not ever make comments that extreme about anybody there or the school itself.

Since starting school there almost three years ago, I have been treated like some sort of rare specimen and I feel like almost every teacher in that school has some sort of bias for me.
Whenever the school gets informed about something regarding me, they would do anything but, if it is another girl, the school would not do as much.
Why does the school like a girl who is a lazy, academic half-wit anyway?
The school is good. It's not perfect but it is good. There are major problems with the way the school handles incidents of bullying and other issues such as class placements but that all I can think of at the time of writing this review.

Such a bad school. The principal Mrs Leask cares more about the school looking good than the students. Many, many girls are depressed/ have anxiety, yet nothing is done about it and it is such a toxic place to be. Can't wait to get out of this hole. Teaching is ok but its the same as a public school. Overhyped - looks good is actually bad.

This school is amazing! Students and staff are very friendly people and most teachers at this school know how to teach.
The only downsides are the class placements and the large heap of assessments during term 2 and term 4.

I have been going to this school for 2 years now. The girls there are horrible people and most of them gossip about one another everyday. I've been dealing with bullying for the entire time I've been there and the school has done nothing about it, even after talking to it about them. I really don't recommend sending your daughter here.

My daughter is in the Newman’s class which is meant to extend the her. Yet the teacher is not even qualified to teach that particular subject and can barely answer the questions the girls ask her.
How can they put an inexperienced teacher in the top level class where the students are supposed to be extended.
Very disappointing! I wish my daughter had not made it into her he Newman’s class as she has now been turned off her favourite subject .

I agree with previous comment.
The school is so much hype.
In fact they dropped some 30 spots in most recent HSC rankings.
Girls don’t have lockers instead they carry their over stuffed tiny backpacks around,
Future back problems!! Speaking to the school about this concern was like talking in circles!
Honestly, if you are in the local area put your daughter in but don’t bend over backwards trying to get in,
The other Catholic schools in the area are absolutely fine.

My daughter loves her school and so do I.
She is happy, made good friends and is learning for her future. Teachers are motivated & always there to help.
She started year 7 as an average student and is now in year 9 with only As & Bs on her reports as well as many Achievement awards.
It is well structured and i don't find it overwhelming regarding work.My daughter still have plenty time relax & do activities outside of school as well as compete in sports at state level.

So much hype attached to the school.
It does do outstanding in the hsc but that's because the girls don't have a life!
Vending machines on the grounds sell bags of lollies and chocolates.
I approached the school about allowing the girls to access this rubbish .
Two years on and it's still there.
Would I recommend it to prospective families?
Only if it's your local highschool.
No need to be queuing up to get in when there are plenty of other good catholic schools around.

school is good especially with the building renovation. They give u a reasonable amount of assessments and more homework in senior years so we end up doing good in our HSC.
I'm , rate this school
