i've been in year 7 for 3 terms and ive seen some things like vaping in bathrooms, vandalism pushing in the bus lines and canteens lines and a major fight not too long ago. THis school suck.

3 children, playing soccer on the bus stop road, and others cursing and being rude to the public, this is unacceptable honestly this school is one that many wish to go to, but this behaviour is horrendous I will definitely not be enrolling my child here. Unacceptable

Good facilities, large difference in teaching capability throughout staff, great choice if you live near although not a school you should pick as your first choice. Completed HSC there and although the student culture and teaching is questionable overall still positively impacted me.

Amazing. Countless academic and wellbeing opportunities. Positive culture. Explicit teaching.

The HSIE teachers are extremely strict but their teaching methods are very effective and good

I have found the school to be very responsive to any welfare and educational concerns related to my child and to have acted in a professional manner in relation to those issues.
Academically there is plenty of opportunity for the children to excel and plenty of support from the teachers. Teachers have been responded in a timely manner to emails I have sent. I have few if no concerns about my child's education and welfare at Killara High.
Parents KHS is a great school. Teach your children to respect the teachers & their authority & everyone will have good experience. My child is excelling at KHS and I couldn't be happier.

since 2014 the student education/learning; as opposed to tutoring and manipulating the system, and student welfare, are not the no one priority of this school... rather the focus is on it's ranking and "sale-ability" while parroting all the right things to parents to convey the false image of a harmonious respectful educational atmosphere for learning...

As a casual employee at this school I would say that the possibilities at this school are endless. Lovely students for the most part yet there is a vibe of pretentiousness that prevents good teachers from really supporting students in a positive way. I would encourage parents to send students to this school and I would encourage parents to support the teachers at this school. Working together not is the way forward.

I have found teachers to be very supportive & helpful. There is a good bunch of kids with few exceptions. The school has a good academic environment & for those who are serious about studies, help & support is there by the staff.

There are some very good teachers here who work hard & are v supportive. However, there are many kids who are quite disrespectful & always cribbing. The general atmosphere is good. As in all schools, there are some not very nice teachers & students but on the whole a great place to be in.

The teachers just told you to copy the things on the board and that's it

This school is such a bad school, is very unfair school, the teachers always force you to do something , I don't like forcing me to do something I really dislike

The sport and art class were useless , my child is year 8 and she told me that the activities were composry for year7&8but not year higher years, this way of working is forcing and is bad for the students .

The sport is very boring and useless, the parents are not the one who go to the school of course they don't know how bad is it, the teaching is just coping things, and the year sevens and nines are not equal, is something like this: the year7&8have to do this ,the year 9-12 is optional,I think that this is so unfair because you can not force me to do something if I don't want to. The homework is too much and the tables and chairs are all in a bad condition, gums every where, and the high years were pushing and bullying the lower years, the very bad thing about this school is that they force you to do something, the parents are not the ones who go to the school so they aren't the ones who really can say they real feelings

My children finished Year 12 here in 2011 and 2013. I found most of the teachers very good and some absolutely outstanding, the sort that deeply influence young people in their maturation processes by helping them engage in critical thinking and debate. The overall ethos of the school is warm and inspiring.

there is no quality teaching here. Most teachers do not know how to teach and have too big of an ego so they don't like to admit their teaching methods are wrong
I'm , rate this school
