such a bad school, the girls here are just so mean and rude to everyone that isn’t their best friend, some include georgia wood, ava thomas lexi kerry and layla bazza i have seen you guys torture poor girls just because of the way they look and act, horrible here if you don’t want your child to get bashed and harassed everyday by these girls then get as far away as possible

If you want your child to end up in a straight jacket and therapy, send them here. The bullying, the bashings and threatening behaviour of students is rampant. There are no consequences for bad behaviour, in fact these students are protected. Some have criminal records, but the schools stance is "every child is entitled to an education" They don't care about the good kids. The teachers have no control of the bad students because they are scared of them and their parents. The only discipline is taken out on the good kids for trvial things. The education standard is crap at best and there is only one good teacher that actually cares. I'm sure she will be driven out soon because she will no longer be able to cope with the toxic environment that is EKC Senior Campus. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!!!

this school is the most horrendous environement ever. the teachers are an absolute JOKE, defending students who have done nothing but taunt and bully innocent people for years. students have criminal records and are constantly threatening innocent kids for fun and getting no punishment's whatsoever because these pathetic teachers just cannot be bothered with it. DO NOT send your child here.

EKC was a thriving multi campus college of 1836 pupils when David Adamson became Principal in 2007.
The college is failing with a combined enrolment of only 625 students.
Where is the accountability? Adamson still is able to remain in his role despite having lost support of the community and all staff.

Told a teacher declared in excess to "get off his arse and start looking for a job and start thinking of his family" Adamson found guilty in a tribunal hearing but never apologised to the teacher

Had an interview at the school and they were very rude. I was interviewed by Adam Potter, David Adamson (Principal) and some other whack job. Seemed like they wanted to finish the interview as quickly as possible. I did not feel welcome and felt like they just wanted to quickly get me in and quickly get me out. As I left, they slammed the door behind me. This was not done intentionally. However, I found it quite rude that a door was shut right in my face and also it was rude that no one bothered to walk me out of the building. An interview for a teaching position is meant to last for 30 minutes and they should give you time to ask qestions at the end. The interview was done in 20 minutes. I asked 2 questions and they answered these questions very quikcly and seemed uninterested in expanding. They basically gave answers that were a few sentences. I spent the time to show them some of my good teachign resources I had organised. However, they appeared disinterested in all of this. I do no tthink they listened to anything I said and they looked bored the whole time. I think they do not know how to be professional and they also have no manners.

I am a former employee. Thank goodness I don’t work here anymore. David Asamson is a joke and the leadership at this school are not supportive at all. They are not respectful to their staff and parents just don’t want to send their kids to this school, and I can definitely understand why. I have heard other staff members complain and lots of staff here are miserable.

school is a bad environment to be in. teachers arent great and i dont know how some were even hired. seems like these teachers should be teaching grade ones. teachers pick on specific children and i have witnessesed alot of this.
everyone here doesnt respect personal space or know any boundaries. everyone is weird and disrespectful, dont send your children here if you want them to have a good future. most of the kids here are gonna be homeless when there older. children also vape in the bathrooms and teachers blame innocent bystanders. i am scared and worried for my lung capacity and health due to being exposed to these harsh chemicals. terrible subject selection. school is very dead and you would think that being underpopulated, they would focus on students. The students have said that the school is terrible and the times are terrible always uneven and different, what's wrong with 3:00? the teachers are annoying and they make you stay back for no reason. the uniform polisy is terrible and they are constantly telling you off for things you have not done. The other students here are dangerous people to be around doing dangerous substances and are a hinderence to our safety. the oval is closed and open to the public so random people are always on it. there are locked off places and we are treated like prisoners. there are no cantean, and students have no where do go during the cold weather. SOS. students are being harrassed everyday by their piers and called offensive names. The teachers are always making themselves the victom in every situation.

Under no circumstances whatsoever send your children to this school. The school is not zoned, and the staff do not know how to deal with abusive students who constantly traumatised the kids who genuinely wish to do well. The police liaison officer does not even report back. Under no circumstances whatsoever even consider sending your children to ekc, they will be traumatised for life. I repeat if you care for your kids do not dare send them there. My heart goes out to the poor children currently attending, the bullying is horrendous.what has the world come too. Shame, shame shame.

I happen to believe that EKC is a great school, maybe it could use new facilities and such but overall it's pretty good. The programs that are run within the school are (for lack of better word) awesome. The teachers are hard working and they pay attention to each individual students education. Not every student or teacher is going to be happy with every school they are placed in and I've rarely come across a complaint from a teacher or student that could be easily fixed if they changed their attitude, it's fair to say that EKC has it's ups and downs but I've mostly been happy with it.

As a former student I was extremely happy with the education that I received, I would not be where I am today without this school. I originally attended Buckley Park secondary where I told that I could not do chemistry because the "acceleration program" had priority, and that Biology is the exactly same subject?? Which is clearly wrong.
Overall I had a great experience with the school, the teachers were some of the best in Victoria in my personal opinion, with all of my teachers making an effort to ensure that I get best results that I could achieve.
And just regarding the previous reviews, it would be good if the could outline why the school is "absolutley disgraceful"? And the student saying that it the building are falling down, the Essendon campus is in great shape. With the the junior being a little bit worse for wear, though the ALP have committed to repairs of the building if when/if they get into power.
