I used to be a student and I am telling you right now, its so bad. I saw a men teacher looking a girl student weirdly. Don't take your child here. The fights are the only good about it.

The teachers at Al Taqwa College are passionate about their subject matter.
By Student - 06 Mar 2023, Rate: poor
This school is very strict about all the uniforms, they would give you a whole day of reflection in a the multipurpose hall for the wrong colour socks or the scarfs ain't pined. like this school can use the money they use for the blasers for new school tables or chairs, toilet doors, the graffiti on every wall in the classroom, bathroom, playgroups every where theres graffiti.
This school should burn down and to all the bad teachers you can get fired and cry me a river.

This school is fantastic! The fights that happen just about everyday are so entertaining. I've been going to this school my entire life and I could never imagine myself going to a school with bathroom doors that can actually lock, or classroom doors that aren't broken, or graffiti that's not literally everywhere. I love Al taqwa college, you should bring your child here for sure.

Staff and management has given our year 12 cohort all the support. We are blessed alhamdulillah. The student advisory committee to management is structured very well and our concerns are heard.

Good school over all, I love the SEEP and scholarship options. Great way to encourage and help hard working students. I must say though, uniform policy is way too strict. The bathrooms; INTOLERABLE. No sanitary bins and- sticky floors??? The teachers are told to strictly follow rules and press them upon students. Also, favouritism is OFF THE CHARTS. In every class some student feels overlooked. I hate this, even students who work hard are discriminated. They just have to deal with it because the teacher's in charge?

My son attended the grade 6 Iftar yesterday. He was so pleased to be part of the VIP guest. Apparently students where selected on behaviour and how they have been performing. Fantastic initiative from the school. Apparently he was telling my husband the importance of respect to the ladies and conveyed a Hadith and story how Allah SWT listened to a crying lady.
He heared the story from the head of Deputy Principal I believe. The students love listing to his stories. It’s great that the school educates students about the importance of respecting females. Many parents where very happy. Well done Al-Taqwa.

The Vice Principal asked many questions about how as a parent you will support your child learning. He wants parents to be engaged in students. Be prepared for these questions. Lol

The school is expanding-more intake and more classes. School is very money minded. Teachers try their best to up the academic results of the children, but school doesn’t support or appreciate their hard efforts enough. Teachers payed less then state school teachers-why? Are they not working as hard! Or are they working even harder! I hear headteachers don’t even applaud their staff enough, instead give them lots of last minute deadlines to meet instead of planning well ahead in advance. Staff morale seems to be down. Many good teachers have left this school and moved on. Listen to your teachers and parents more often, we all want the best for our children and the school.

This school is very dirty and the classrooms are in a shocking state- graffiti, torn blinds, torn curtains, dirty walls. It is absolutely shocking and speaks volumes about the students, the quality of the staff and the ethos here. It is a poorly run school with bad management. The students have no pride in their uniform or school. Some staff are good but they are swimming against the tide.

Students never respect teachers.
By Parent - 06 Aug 2017, Rate: average
It has improved in the past few years, still needs many improvements. Need less emphasis on money than on serious learning support from teachers', students'and parents' bonding. Students are very disrespectful to teachers and that's not teacher's fault it is the lack of attention from their parents. And all those who are not happy with Burqa, Arabic etc shouldn't send their children as it confuses the children leading to even worse problems later in life.

This school right here is the worst school I have ever seen in my life, if you are wearing the wrong coloured socks you automatically get sent home. If no one is able to come and pick you up its an automatic suspension what kind of stuffed up school does something like this, you get checked in the morning and sit in the office all day, that's a whole day of learning gone. They only care about their reputation nothing else their education is the worst ever don't recommend this prison to anyone whatsoever.

Teachers' English proficiency level is so low. It's more focused on Arabic than any other areas of study. Administration services are too bad. Every year they are increasing class size and sections for making extra income without considering the benefits of each individual learning. One teacher is handling 28 to 30 kids in a class.
