half the classes don't have teachers and are just taught by substitute teachers. in class you aren't even taught anything, you're just given a set of questions to complete before the end of the lesson. the staff and teachers are incapable of their jobs and some should have been fired years ago. a terrible school overall

They care more about the socks than they do the actual students.
The canteen doesn't provide for dietary requirements and the prices are far to expensive.
Some of the teachers are entirely inept and I don't know why they weren't fired years ago.
I wouldn't recommend this school for anyone.

you get sent home for wearing socks with purple stripes instead of green. just DON'T go here.

they care more about the uniform than the actual learning. The year 8 coordinator is way too strict and targets certain students. They treat the school like its a private school. The food is good though.

Pathetic school, if you wanted to improve it an entire overhaul would be needed including the entire principal team and many teachers that are unfit to teach.

I would not recommend this school solely due to the drug use, rampant deterioration, and elderly leadership present on campus. Often the school forces the majority of the student body to go to an event that only a minority actually enjoy/consent to. Some of the teaching staff are aging, stubborn, and not entirely literate in English. I would suggest Bentleigh Secondary college over this school, solely because their wellbeing program is better and their staff sincerely care about the students.

this is a terrible school the grounds are always in poor condition and the school shows no regard for students sport as it is near non-existent there.

Bullying is endemic in this school. If you are the bully you will not suffer any consequences and your parents will be totally unaware of your behaviour. If you are the person being bullied nothing will be done and you will end up having to leave this school. Minack can not be contacted and any complaints are passed on to his deputy who is not interested.
I'm , rate this school
