Worst experience ever - out daughter got bullied ended up with psychologist. Teacher are very average and below - our daughter is so far behind we have to get private tutoring to help her - she is now on her new school and can see how she makes positive progress every day - Perth College was the worst school we ever chosen so sad for all the time lost for our daughter- and we had countless meetings with school heads and all for nothing. I will never recommend Perth College

I have just moved to Perth College and I LOVE IT! All of my teachers are amazing and they all understand when things are going wrong or if something is up (Mr Johnson and Miss O'Connell).
I love this school so much I would recommend going to this school!

This school is overrated. Bullying is rife and they take little action, if any. As the saying goes, the fish rots from the top. Despite requests to meet with her, the principal never made herself available. Head of year was way out of his depth, lazy and uninterested. He kept passing the buck to other staff. With our daughter's emotional well-being at stake, we finally figured enough is enough and enrolled her in a much nicer school. After the Principal found we are leaving, her only feedback was "you have not given a term's notice and will be charged a full term." That comment sums up the arrogance and unfriendly nature of the school.

I'm a past student and can speak for most - this school was amazing and afforded me opportunities I would never dream of. The teachers were exceptional, I felt supported and appreciated. My teachers would stay back after class and dedicate their time to ensure I was confident with my learning. The school environment is amazing and have established a strong community of strong, smart and independent young women. My good grades, achievements and motivation can all be attributed to the amazing staff. It was evident to any student that they want you to achieve your personal best and would take the time with you to achieve this. Over the past years the school have considered the importance of mental health - creating programs / speeches etc. and staff would ensure the appropriate resources and help is provided.

All kids different, what works for some , not others. Sadly this school has deteriorated over recent years. Smoke and mirrors in processes and leadership feedback seems to be encouraging, yet it just seems to be window dressing designed to placate. Loss of some really good teachers and remainder under pressure to do 3 jobs or just keep the poor teachers. So disappointing after such an investment. School board seems oblivious to the disarray, which I’ve no doubt is being “ explained away” as due to Covid.

My daughter started at Perth College in Year 7 and it has been a wonderful experience for her and us. She attended a highly regarded public primary school, but has truly blossomed since she started at PC and has taken full advantage of all the extra curricular activities on offer. She thanks me regularly for sending her to his amazing school. I highly recommend Perth College.

This school is the absolute worst, and I've had a great deal of experience in schools (and life). No other school has come anywhere near as low as this school - it is the most unprofessional, nasty school with the teaching staff extremely rude and uncaring. Look after your children, send them to any of the great schools Perth has - not 'Perth College' - they're terrible.

This is the worst school ever destroying kids mentally kids become so negative by going to this school. Mr. Ussi in primary worst teacher mrs Dougan take sides.mrs summer mrs capal all sports departments doing favors to the kids they know. What a terrible school my parents finally put me to MLC which I find the best. Freeman's play a big part in Perth college and getting awarded because the mum always in the school getting favours from the teachers. What a shame Perth college. I hate this place for ever.

I don't go to Perth College but from interaction with the girls I can see that it is a very negative and snarky atmosphere that must make their learning life very unpleasant. The girls swore and said inappropriate things to eachother and gossiped in front of teachers who acted like it was a normal occurance. I would never like to attend a school with this sort of negative student interaction.

Don't get me wrong perth college is great. It provides you with so many opportunities. That is if you are the shinning light in your teachers eyes. I'm an old girl (2008) now it has taken some time to realise that perth college gave me no support. I had an abussive boyfriend throughout highschool, which affected my sleep and made me beyond depressed. My grades where poor (apart from PE) and I was struggling. The teachers ruled me out as being 'rebellious' abd probably stupid because I wasn't focussing and could hardly stay awake in class. Perth college has the resources to reach out to struggling students. Due to there lack of care and misunderstanding students, they feel that if they put you in a extra English class and give you an extra study period instead of doing an elective sufficient without actually getting to the root of the problem.
I give perth college an average scare because they have wonderful resources and excellent learning materials but they can't provide enough support or understanding for there students that aren't shining so bright. I feel that schools should bring the best out of there students and not neglect them. This is most likely evident in a lot of schools, but perth college had no excuse to leave students behind.

This school is extremely overrated. The teaching is very poor for such a high cost and the students are very unfriendly. When my daughter started school at Perth College, she made some lovely friends. However the school seemed to shift their attitude in a negative way, and they soon became much more arrogant and catty. I saw a negative change in my daughter also, however that changed straight away when she moved to a much nicer school. They mainly focus on academic achievement and because my daughter is an average student who achieves Bs and Cs, they were uncivil towards her. Would not recommend.

Very positive and encouraging atmosphere. Staff appear motivated, proficient and empathic to the whole school experience and not solely focused on academic achievement.
I'm , rate this school
