I'm not sure what planet one of the reviewers was on. The schools is performing terribly be every measure both quantitatively and qualitatively.
Don't believe the quote below "All the other reviews are "Hogwash" Namadgi is a brilliant school with all the right resources and amazing teachers."
Doesn't sound like the words of a student to me. Talk to ex teachers of the school to get the real challenges and the lack of resourcing and support.

I really like the teachers at this school, they are great and the classes are interesting. But the kids are a nightmare. They have a terrible attitude and I have been faced with bullying of all kinds. I've only been here for 7 weeks and I already dread getting out of bed every day. There have also been reports of children smoking after school. The education facilities are good but the behaviour needs to get under control.

Namdgi school is a good school I just don’t really like the teachers. I don’t think things are handled right at this school.

I started my children at this school 2 years ago and was given a lot of grief over it and now I understand why. The first was great (second semester) last year my son had a horrible time with his teacher but yet my daughter was doing great now this year the roles have slightly reversed but my son is still copping flack from his previous teacher he has been bullied to no end including having a stick being thrown at him by another student narrowly missing his eye and the current principle done nothing about it even when I made a big deal about it, his response was "boys will be boys". I'm allowing my children to finish out the remainder of this year then removing them

Worst Performing School in all of Tuggeranong based on NAPLAN and other indicators. The closure of 3 Primary and a High School in the single suburb of Canberra was a terrible ACT Labor decision.

I believe this school has a excellent learning system and compared to most private schools it is very ordered but not to strict to hurt students independence!

I agree with the other comments. It is such a shame that the school has all the resources yet the teaching system in place is so outrageous - children teaching themselves and they claim it is individual learning - what a load of hogwash. We moved our child and the results have been unbelievable.

My son attended for a year. He broke his arm and they did nothing, at the end of the day they said he had a little tumble and was a bit whingey. Teachers are awful, students are out of control. We moved to another school which has been great.I would never send a child here again.

I have not heard anything good about this school. From what i saw when i visited, most students are out of control. There is lots of swearing, no discipline, and no one really cares about the kids - least of all parents, which is rather sad. My advice - if you want the best for your kid, dont send them to this school

I think it's really poor the schools great but it's just some people they swear so much teachers don't really care so many bullies, pushy , need to fix the peoples additude not school

Violence everywhere, hate to see it people don't listen in class and the primary students mingle with the high-school students, a poor choice I would think a lot of swearing goes on. There are 4 school values, which they try to enforce however it doesn't work they are: Respect, Caring, Positive Attitude and Learning. The primary school is good from what I have experienced but when it goes to high-school everything changes, There's smoking after school and my peers give grief to the other students for things they can't control. Although they have great resources Laptops, Textiles, Dance Studios, Music Systems, Woodwork/Metalwork Tools etc. they have poor attitude.
I'm , rate this school
