Im a girl in this school and these rules are IMPOSSIBLY STUPID. I just heard that the wellfare teacher is making the girls wear skirts with the sports uniform and your not allowed to take it off? WHATS THE POINT THEN? They're also banning LIP BALM. I dosent even add any colour or gloss to your lips it just keeps them hydrated but the school considers it MAKEUP? What am i supposed to do if my lips get chapped? The school also says NOTHING to the boys. The make the rudest, most disgusting and revolting jokes ever, and all they get is a warning where as if your a girl and your caught not wearing chiffon scarf you get a call home and sometimes even detention.

bro the school is actually so bad i'm in year 6 and my teacher is so bad she made me cry today because of how mean she is please parents, do your kids and yourself a favour and don't enroll your kids into al noori school. i won't even put the 'muslim' in the name because my teacher gets 'triggered' when talk about Islam occurs, because she doesn't pray and she doesn't cover her awrah. i also saw her once at the beach wearing shorts and a t-shirt, with no scarf. i won't say which teacher but I can just say that my life at this primary has been horrible, and I'm not even a bad kid, I swear!

Sorry, I got busy, back again and continuing from my last review about AlNoori where I finished stating I got rebuked by the principal in the distant passed when I taught there for requesting longer break time so I can pray with good concentration rather then like a pecking rooster here are some other things I want to let you know:
NSW Education Standards Authority told me when I wrote to them about my direct bank payment to the school during flooding that private owned schools can have whatever payment procedures they want so yes no matter how unfair it seems its up to them- okay I'm over that so moving along I complained to NESA Nsw Education Standards Authority that AlNoori Muslim School rejects Kindergarten applications for students turning 6 or who are 6 and the NSW Education Act permits children in NSW to start school at 6 and NSW Education Standards Authority wrote back to me saying that a private school can dictate what age they accept for Kindergarten?!That I disagreed with totally and argued my point and when I have time I will be pursuing this matter with the Minister for Education and that's if he answers because when he was Shadow Housing Minister I contacted him about asbestos assessing company fraud and he never bothered answering my email so I don't know if I am going to waste my time emailing him anymore.
However every other private school I called including Malek Fahd accept children turning six for Kindergarten.
So AlNoori discriminates against children turning six from being admitted to kindergarten at their school.
Let's see what the research shows:
"What the data really show us is that, on average, children who start school in the year they turn six are more likely to have developed the skills and competencies needed to thrive in a formal learning
environment, compared with their younger peers who start school in the year they turn five,” Dr Hanly says."The research team includes academics from UNSW, the Australian National University, the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, University of Melbourne... and there is other supporting research.

I wasn't able to physically go into the office to pay for my child's enrollment application fee so I paid it directly to the school bank account because there was severe flooding happening preventing me befire the deadline for payments and I couldn't make it physically into the office. They said they can't accept payments paid directly into their school bank account and can only accept it by the eftpos machine which is inside their office? When I called reception and asked to know the name of the owner as I wanted to raise a complaint with New South Wales Education Standards Authority for this unfair rejection of the payment and other issues including them blocking me from emailing the school because I was protesting that it isn't fair to reject the payment because it was flooding and I said to the receptionist " What's the name of the owner of the school" she replied she doesn't know. So on the website I said to her it says that the Chairmen of your Board is Fawaz Sankari is he the owner of your school? She again replies she doesn't know shich is possibly true but the next thing I know the school had firewall blocked me from their website and I also begun getting bombarded with countless spam emails. So you be the judge- is this wonderful, accomodating Islamic business attitude?
Anyway that hovering crane and construction going on near an active school doesn't encourage you to put a child there.
Look once you have the money - who cares about accomodating insignificant people.
What are the pros- Well I taught in the early 2000s and the teachers were kind but the principal was arrogant and scolded me for asking for the school to extend break time so we can actually go toilet, make wudu and pray the duhr prayer because there wasn't enough time to do that so she told me that because I was a part- time stuff to keep my comments to myself. I see her in Centro snd never once has she apologised for her arrogance that day- obviously caring about showing she is BOSS over a human right to have enough time to go toilet, make wudu and worship.

Teachers are nice. Don't like how canteen rose by 50c such a rip thinking we work and use men as slaves like who does that. Also, kids are the problem in the classroom. When I was a young boy I would walk to school homeless. School has given me a home. I met friends for life at the school. I like the school just the 50c that's all.

Bro, this school is so bad I am still trying to figure out how to do my homework if you see my spelling without autocorrect you will think I am a 2-year-old because it is so bad how they teach spelling(3/15)...... but I do agree there are some nice teachers but then you have teachers that give you a lecture every 5 mins for 30 mins so like mmm. But it mostly depends on what teachers e.g. you got last year my teacher who helped me so much with math and was supportive but this year I am unsure if my teacher knows I am alive. And Islamic education wasn't that bad (unless you have miss Itani or miss Acbic) it is a good school but it has bad bits. like having a broken leg and ending up with an ice pack walking back to class but yeah if you find your child has a high IQ and you have a big wallet I think this school is good for you and make sure you ask your child if he enjoys the school or if they're having a lot of stress because of it. btw if you are student go visit the Alnoori hate page

I'd love to know where the admin and most teachers get their arrogance from when the ATAR to enter a teaching degree is dismal at most universities and the LANTITE test is the equivalent of a Year 9 NAPLAN. You'd think if a high school dropout could do your job, you'd humble yourself a little.

this school is the worst school i have ever been to, it's literally impossible how poor it is. on one hand, there r teachers who spoil their favourite students so much they completely ignore the ret of the class, whilst on the other there r teachers who r so fat they only eat chips 24/7 and watch their tiktok

The school is not as bad as everyone says. It has its pressure but mostly that’s what some parents want and that why they send their children there. There are good stuff and bass stuff like every other school. I have been a student of this school for a while and there are days when I hate the school but I absolutely love my teachers . Mrs Khan is my favourite. She made me fall in love with Science. It’s unfortunate that she is leaving. So many students were devastated and so many cried . This alone tells how good some teachers were. The school excecutives can be bad but not the all teachers . If you are thinking of sending your children to this school, make decisions based on who will be in classrooms with them and not some exaggerated comments.

Salams to anyone who may be reading this.
I'd like to start with one thing; most of these reviews are extremely exaggerated. The school DOES provide a good education, and anyone with a plausible level of intelligence should be able to tolerate the high workload fairly well. That is not to say the school is flawless.
There are definite problems. There are minimal extracurricular activities such as sport, and not all the students here are as innocent as one may expect of a Muslim school. The bathrooms are also not in great conditions, but the students are more at fault for that than the executives. Recess could also be a bit longer (recess is ~15 min., and lunch is about ~25 min. As for the school environment, there certainly is constant pressure to perform and avoid being kicked out, but the right students should be able to thrive in this condition, I myself having used this as a motivator to achieve good marks throughout my time here. Many reviews have mentioned homework struggles, but again, nothing good time-management and intelligence can't handle. One should expect at least 6 hours of homework weekly, this obviously increasing over the years and during exam periods.
And like all schools, there are great and not-so-great teachers here. I won't give any negative names, but conversely, there are some great teachers, including Mr. J, Mr. Patel and Mr. Ali, to name a few. In short, ensure you are willing to work hard and sacrifice a fair bit to stay here, no matter how smart you may be, if not, you'll be better off at Punchbowl Boys or some other school of that caliber. I will also admit, excursions are rare, and rather expensive, but what can one do? As an AL Noori senior to-be, I've enjoyed my time at this school (mostly), and I believe any clever individual willing to work hard for a bright future will agree.
And again, I have been at this school for four years now, so I feel as though my points are well grounded and reasonably valid.
I hope my review helps you make the right decision regarding you or your child's education, and that Allah (SWT) guides you in this life and the hereafter inshallah, alhamdullilah.
Note: Having arrived here from a public school, I did take a few months to completely adjust to the changes, but I managed.

I used to be at this school in year 9 and it was the worst school ever. Everyday we would have atleast 2 hours of homework a day and on preparation for maths exams out math teacher would remake us do every single exercise in the topics again in like 5 days. They say they are an Islamic school that care about student wellbeing well you’ll be dead wrong they only care about marks and there school ranking. However primary was really fun if you got good teachers but once high school hit it was like you where in military school in South Korea. The only reason I didn’t leave in year 7 was because I didn’t want to leave my friends but I ended up having too because they kicked me out for getting below 70% in my exams although we just had 2 terms of online school

This school in which founded upon by the Islamic principles and humble and honorable people has changed quite alot since its beginnings. Mr (Dictator) Kak who simply walks around the school doing nothing, and his henchmen who run this school like nothing more than a business. The people now running the school do not care in the slightest of any student but rather their rankings and their overpriced everything. They will kick you out if you don't make the top 5% and there is absolutely nothing you as a small little student can do about it. They have lost their Islamic principles for their own benefit and gain. The Buckleys (the founders) intended for this school to be for the Muslim community to gain knowledge and to gain a sense of community within. This is now just another selective school running for that money ever since the Buckleys lost their control over the running of the school. As a student since the very beginning (Kindygarden) it is quite upsetting seeing the school like this, that's it really.

hello, for u curious ppl wondering whether or not alnoori is the place to be. i would like to inform u of the amazing treatment, when i enter the school gates i am greeted by the school itself. its amazing smell feels like im hugging clouds. a table of sweets and drinks are presented to me, a wide selection indeed.i stop by the breakfast bar and pick up a treat. i love my life. i go to class where my teachers take my bag and begin to do my homework for me. im so grateful for them. on exam days, my exams are completed for me by all the school staff while i lounge in the office. they then apply for early offers for me as i enjoy lunch, chicken btw, with the teachers. i love this school. i cant imagine what i would do if i wasnt here. i love my life.

My friend showed me the comments today on Ms Khan. Yes the school is bad but Ms Khan is a very good teacher. She use to teach me and now teaches my siblings . One of the best teachers in the school. I hated the school but she was one reason I loved Science. Don’t say bad things about her when you are not good in Science. Try asking for help, she will surely help you anytime of the day. Yes the school is bad and overpriced but some teachers are really good especially her. Many students in the school love her.I don’t know what your problem is . Maybe try to know her and you will know she has your best interest at heart.

This school is absolutely ridiculous!
I moved to this school in hopes of extending my education and excelling in classes as I was while I was attending primary but unfortunately I was mistaken. This school forces a huge amount of workload onto students and try to justify it by saying you will get overworked in the ‘real world’. There is absolutely no excuse as to how this school treats their students. I am very fortunate to have sympathetic parents that put my mental health ahead of my marks and offered me to leave the school if it is too much for me. All this school cares about is it’s ranking, not to mention the absurd uniform prices along with building fees that we need to pay even though I won’t be using it. Families spend lots of money just for their poor children to have corrupt minds and mental health issues. This school drained me so much that I could not get out of bed for weeks. My parents have had enough of this school, it’s stupidity, and the lack of care it has for its students. Unless you want your children to be stressed and insecure about how clever they are because they moved down a class, I would strongly NOT recommend sending your child to this corrupt school.

As a year 8 student, i already hate it. The only Islamic thing about it is, 1 hr Islamic class like twice a fortnite and getting yelled at to pin a scarf. The only thing i like about it is my friends
By Student - 24 Oct 2021, Rate: poor
As a student who goes here the school is horrible and the parents who are saying its good clearly dont know about anything. and i kind of find this ms elzahab thing a little unfair she has half her relatives in this school and no matter how bad they get they wont get kicked out because she will somehow make them pass. teachers are stuck up and expect students to follow them for every word they say. Teachers wont let you go toilet period 1,3 and 5 because we had some time before to go but guess what I can't control the time I want to pee or do a little shat. we need some pass now to get into the building during recess and lunch like idk what teachers think is going to happen. Half my teachers really don't know how to teach just put a ppt on the board and make us read like the the information is going to get into my brain like that. this school is expensive because its not even a high quality school so it should cost less. And Mr kak thinks he's too cool to talk to the people under year 11. Too much content being taught that they forget to focus on actually helping us understand rather than just shoving some info in our faces. School uniform costs a lot and the uniform isn't even nice. you get 3 different uniforms in your alnoori like; primary, junior highscholers and seniors. I honestly really dislike the school and teachers are strict over everything like if I talk once I'm moved across the class or sent outside. the highschool building doesn't have enough classrooms for the students there's like two outside the building. we barley ven get any excursions like the last one I went to was 2 years ago. Its a Muslim school but we get quran only once a week. If we are caught with our phones they act like we did some big crime, they randomly come check your bag to see if you have your phone. They are very strict and make everything into a big problem. School sickbay sucks they give you ice for everything. we dont have an actual sickbay lady we just use the office ladies. And yeah i really hate this school its trash and boring. there's always that group of girls that think they are too good for everyone but they clearly arent. them people would be the ones hating the new students. Just dont come here please i think your better off where your at. pretty much i hate being in this school.
By Student - 24 Oct 2021, Rate: bad
I go to this school and i really dislike it, i should've left it but I want to stay with my friends. The school really doesn't care not a dot about their students mental health and wellbeing and only care about the schools ranking. Students are put through so much pressure to get good and get into g1 or b1. the schools bathrooms are disgusting. the bathrooms have pee all over the floor and they smell so bad. the school makes us pay some building fee for some irrelevant building we never even asked for. The teachers barley let us do anything but they expect us all to get like some 90% when half the teachers here can't even teach properly. this school is legit trash if you care about your children's mental health dont send them here. we get loads of homework everyday and if we dont complete it by the next day that's already a warning put down for your name. 3rd warning and there you get a warning letter. And this school really favors the boys. like I know some girls dont like playing sports but there is still some of us that do and we arent allowed to play during recess and lunch. sometimes the girls would just walk around then we get told to stop and sit down, like it gets very boring to just sit down. The library opens like once a week or once every two weeks and we can barley borrow anything. Theres only two computer labs in the building so if its booked out that's tough luck. in our highschool campus its meant to be year 7-12 but then they casually gave us the year 5 and 6's too and now with the new building probably going to give us the whole primary. to sum it up, this school is horrible and dont recommend what so ever.

ALL THIS SCHOOL CARES ABOUT IS THEIR RANKING. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT IMPROVING THE STUDENTS AT ALL.
By Student - 04 Sep 2021, Rate: average
This school isn't entirely the best. There is a lot of pressure and stress that kids from the age of 12 (Year 7 students) experience. There isn't much focus on the students wellbeing and mental states. Everything mainly revolves around marks. The school is excellent in it's academic part. However, I would not recommend this school for students who cannot take on a lot of work and pressure. I'm a student in Year 9 currently and I'm always doing work...no stop. I don't relax. When I was put in the school, I started of in a G3 class, and everything was about being in G1. I eventually made my way to G1. It was really stressful because if you moved down, you were considered 'dumb'. I would not recommend this school for kids who cant take on a lot of pressure. But if your child can take this pressure, then take the risk. This is an honest review by the way.
By Student - 25 Aug 2021, Rate: average
Honestly, Al Noori isn't as bad as people say it is. Yes, it is strict. Yes, we do get a lot of homework and assignments. But overall some students achieve great marks. Some, though. I'm one of the kids that are getting bad marks right now, and I'm just saying, this school isn't for everyone. Make sure your child is comfortable with the school and workload, please.

IDK what to say about this school, I am in year 8 in 8B1 and there is alot of pressure to remain in that class and they want the students to compete and try to get to B1/G1 i dont know if this is a good method to help improve the students but oh well. We do definitely get alot of work but it rly depends on the subject. We barely do Quran and Islamic its only 1 a week now. I wish it would be atleast 2-4 times instead. Most teachers are good but some can be bias. I feel like this school is just to make money but oh well i mean the year 12's always get good atars so maybe its worth it. Overrall its a good school and much better than other schools. What sucks is that they never give excursions but i mean we get sport every week and go on buses to places that can be rly fun like rock climbing and bowling but thats only in year 8. Also the toilets stink and u cannot clean urself with water since there is piss in the buckets. It is not the worst school but t isnt they best. Its good i guess

Salam, I need honest feedback on this school Al Noori please ?
I have 3 kids at Rissalah college in Lakemba and have been at this school for over 8 years. The last 2 years has been the worst it’s ever been from leadership, teacher turn over, teacher and student bullying, resources and facilities are crap, and my son coming home telling me how they freely talk about sex in primary school and using related terms I never heard of tell I was married, which as a parent is very alarming. It’s time for change my kids are being exposed to Harum daily!
Voicing your concerns is not even an option at this school or your kids are bullied.
Please how is the environment at Al Noori?
Teaching?
Bullying?
Discipline?
Resources and facilities?
Thank you

i am an alnoori student and i am in year 5 and i have an excellent teacher called ms iqbal. This school is amazing due to educating teachers, outstanding resources, fantastic homework and many more. it has K-12 years. trust me no other school is better. it is the best school ever because there is not only a primary and high-school but their is also a child care and a preschool for your own kids. wouldn't that be so cool.Al Noori Muslim School's mission is to provide a high quality education in a supportive environment that inspires students to achieve their full potential. The school environment promotes and nurtures a sense of self-worth, discipline and understanding of the rights of fellow students and fellow human beings. The school values are derived from Islamic principles which directly correlate with the 'Values for Australian Schooling' of care and compassion, doing your best, fair go, freedom, honesty and trustworthiness, integrity, respect, responsibility, understanding, tolerance and inclusion. The school's focus is to deliver Board of Studies syllabus requirements at the highest possible standard of teaching and learning. It aims at providing students with highly rewarding and productive learning programs that incorporate a variety of stimulating events and initiatives. The school also maintains a selective admission policy. Prospective kindergarten students sit an aptitude test while 1 to 7 sit tests in literacy and numeracy. Year 7 will be added as a new year of schooling in 2010. The school provides a rich sports program that incorporates gymnastics, swimming, Jump Rope for Heart and Fun run. Al Noori proudly participates in the 'Active After School Communities' sports program.it is a very religious and educated school.all students and teachers are beautiful. The school is so big and wide. i am getting very good mark because of my educated teacher. i am only in primary and i am already enjoying it. i thank my parents for taking me to this spectacular school. it includes: gymnasium(where many kids play sports in) ict lab(considers many computers to type on) classes, canteens(where children can buy food) basketball court, girl and boy bathrooms, office, lifts, science labs, teachers staff room, playing area, parking spots, soccer courts, many other things. i strongly believe that al noori is a wonderful school. please please please please enroll your kids now, believe me your kids will make many friends and have an amazing education. it will really really really help them throughout their lives.

im currently in year 8 and i have been in the school for a while, im talking from experience some teachers are really nice only some but the rest will make ur life a living hell, dont get me started on the school fees, WHY ARE WE PAYING FOR THEM TO MAKE ANOTHER USELESS BULIDING, THE UNIFORMS CAN COST UP TO 300 FOR 1 PERSON AND THEY ARE ABUSING OUR MONEY, YET NOT THEY DONT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING THAT WILL BENEFIT US SUCH AS EXCUSIONS, EVENTS AND EQUIPMENT. in the school its not about what u know but who u know that matters the board dont care about the wellbeing and learning of the student merely the students whom guarantee them a high atar. I myself and many others in school are always slammed with huge amounts of work not allowing to get any rest or to live out what we have left of our childhood, they say we need to sustain a healthy routine but i am barely making it through as is. not to mention this school is known for its 'Islamic teaching' when they expected us to keep up with it, giving 1 lesson per week and we have no time to revise, the original Arabic and isl staff had left and they were getting abused by the school and were the only light about the school. some rules such as pinning ur scarf i can agree with, yet they can be so extreme, we are all still kids still learning. some parents may think their child is doing fine but they dont always know how their child is really doing at school, most of us are stressing and tired, some are depressed and giving up. its more of a greedy business then place for learning and growth, they need to fix the school it too much, at our age we shouldnt be stressing that much, we shouldnt come home to have 6hrs worth of work to get through we shouldnt be coming to school tired because we couldnt get enough sleep after the late nights of studies. i couldnt count the amount of mental break downs i had because of the school, most are to blind to see whats really happening behind the all so high marks and grades.

I was in this school for my whole life thinking it was okay, I got kicked out, mind you I got average marks and I didn’t have bad behaviour at all, and everyone that had worse behaviour and/or marks just went down to g3, which is really unfair. It gives way too much stress on kids too, with all the homework and lack of explaining it. Some teachers are kind and will help, but a lot just don’t care. The councillors and people who are supposed to help don’t help at all. I never felt safe telling a teacher how I feel. I’m now in Beverly Hills and it is a much better school and I can’t open up to teacher without the fear of having my parents know. Then the uniforms are ridiculously overpriced. This school is really not a good school at all and doesn’t care about the students mental bellbeing. In high school, you get Quran and islamic once a week, ever since then I stopped trying to learn it cuz I didn’t have the time, due all my other other homework, whereas in primary we get to learn it everyday which really helped me so it’s sad to know that I won’t be able to read Quran like I used to. Please don’t enroll your child in this school, it’s really not good and will give him way too much stress, trust me, I already had the stress of my parents, then my tutor telling me I’m way below average, then this school comes in and adds the cherry of depression on the disappointment cupcake. Please please please don’t enroll your child here, it’s not worth the money. It really messes up your life.

A school that is a registered NON-profit org and the number one thing that the school board/ investors are concerned about is $$$$. Their aim for "high marks" is to gain reputation so that they can charge more exorbitant fees. They force parents to pay building levy which is actually illegal as it should be a "voluntary" payment ( call the taxation office for more info). Most of the Managerial staff are friends and family of the school board and are given high positions and cushy jobs. It's pretty much who you know rather than what you know. I really feel sorry for what the teachers have to put up with this with the staff cuts. Many excellent teachers and religious studies teachers have been treated like dirt for standing up to these narcissist and trying to make the school a place more conducive to learning and Islamic values. The Kids are pretty much the guinea pigs in all this. Unless the whole system changes nothing will change unfortunately.

The school is a very bad school they don’t give the students time to be kids and let them experience life all they do is hand out work after work and make the exams so hard with like 13 chapters to memories for each subject and if your marks aren’t good enough for the school they’ll kick you out like what’s the point of a school if it’s not actually helping the kids benefit

1. No sport
2. No fun
3.too much detention and not much attention
4.the teacher has no care in the world and makes people cry and laughs about it.

If you think Al Noori is bad Rissalah is worse. I have kids in both schools and i know Al Noori is way way better. The other one is favouritism all the way. If you are connected to the Lady Principal even if your kid slaps another kid, he gets away with it. Al Noori is way better.

Al Noori should change its name to Al Nazi! The school is run by a bunch of narcissist who have no regard for the children’s welfare. They have no compassion. Students are leaving the school damaged and hopeless feeling unworthy. PLEASE DO NOT CONSIDER THIS SCHOOL AS THE ONLY OPTION FOR YOUR CHILD. There is no Islamic values placed, only thing they worry about is marks so they can make more $$ And your child can be thrown out at any time if their standards are not reached.
They will all be held accountable on the Day of Judgement and for this I can’t wait!

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
The school is average,
But its so expensive to get a beverage.
Money is the root of evil they say,
That is literally the school's ways.
So please take an advice from here,
Bring your money before entering here,
Thant you for listening to my ted talk,
Just remember, don't slip on the dirty playgrounds as you walk.
For now that is all,
I give my gratitude to all.

The uniform is super expensive and the principal walks around the school doing nothing and only talks to you if yr in year 11 or 12 ,some of the classrooms smell disgusting so do the bathrooms most of the teachers are really mean and rude and honestly couldn’t care less about your kid the canteen prices are way to expensive like 5$ for 5 chicken nuggets? Most of the kids are really mean too and they can do whatever they want to if they have a really good relationship with the classroom teacher there are way to many kids in a classroom and the work is overly hard plus we need a new Curriculum were learning the same thing over and over again please don’t enroll your kid here

Hello, people on this page.I would like you to inform that most comments to the school is definitely untrue. The overall school is generally really good and i cannot understand why people are doing this too the school. There is alot of work at this school but they want you to learn and too be more quicker in those subjects.ALL of our NAPLAN results are usually higher than the NATIONAL average.I recommend to not go onto this page as it is out-dated and some bias people go onto this page because they know there will be other people onto this page. By the way you should try the school and see its conditions. Sure the bathrooms can be unclean but that is only midday to the end as some students do not know how to take care of themselves. Just do not us this page for advice

The school, honestly, in my opinion is not bad, but not as good as well. It does require improvement, with the teachers and students. SOME not all, teachers can be quite strict, rude and unprofessional towards their students. If a student is misbehaving, teachers should aim to find a way of disciplining the student, so they will learn not to do it again. Not get cranky and angry. When people get angry, they don't think properly as they are consumed with rage and often won't make the right decision or do the right thing. Students also should do their part. I mean if you're doing the wrong thing, you will face the consequences. If the teacher told the class to be quiet several times, and you are talking, the teacher has a right to punish you and make you stand outside of class. You can't blame the teacher for anything, because you did something wrong.
Overall, it's okay, but the school doesn't completely follow proper islamic ethos, or incorporate a lot of islamic teachings. Primary is okay, but high school...
I mean it is an islamic school, but if in high school, you only get one period of islamic studies and one period of quran a week, whereas everyday you have science, english and math, it does not encourage students to connect with their religion. I mean if it is an islamic school, shouldn't students have a right to gain islamic knowledge everyday?

Al noori is OK. its not 100 percent bad and its not 100 percent amazing. eVERYONE KNOWS SCHOOL SUX but this school is not tooo bad. I mean they do push us a lot harder than all public schools which im telling you now is SO UNFAIR! but they do give us rewards like eid day and stuff. Im in year 5 only and its not too bad. Maybe it will get worse maybe it will get better, but all these comments arent true. A few of the teachers are SOOOOOO nice my yr 4 teacher was AMAZING! Some teachers are really nice and they let us have parties at the end of each term. Ms Elzahab and Mr kak {Or what i like to call him 'MR KAAAAK'} are kinda unfair. I mean why is it soooooo important for us to wear a bloody pair of white sport shoes? I GOT A BLOODY STUPID PERFORMER JUST FOR WEARING BLACK!!!! Anyways, overalll school is alright kinda nice kinda unfair.

I’ve been at this school for a while now and I believe it has become worse then what it was before. The girls have to have their scarfs Pinned 24/7 and it’s really annoying. The boys have to have the same length hair cuts with I think is dumb. The teachers don’t care about our education that much and they get you into trouble just for chucking something in the bin like seriously. And if you ask a teacher to go bathroom they hesitate to send you like sorry miss Mohammad I can’t control my bladder

It is above the average, the teachers are kind but some are just plain rude! This school is also nice for the friends I have met and the canteen ladies who are soo kind and canteen food. But one thing is that I am in year 6 now and there are absolutely NO EXCURSIONS which is not fair as the previous year 6 had soo many excursions. Overall I li,e this school and it is just my opinion.

I am a current student at this school. My behaviour is of average-and only because of my constant demand for respect from the teachers. The principal does not speak to his students that are below Year 11 & 12. He does not show any interest in the mental and emotional wellbeing of the students. There is a high level of sexism in the school, and even thought the higher authorities are aware of it, they embrace the title that they are 'sexist'. This school is solely based on academic excellence and is unfit for the creative of minds.

Honestly, most of the reviews on this page are untrue, petty and pathetic. The appalling comments that are written on this page are submitted by those who have personal prejudices against the school and/or it's staff. The language used by these individuals reflects on their nature and indicates that they are the root of the problem, not the school. Many parents and students complain and over exaggerate about the workload and the level of conformity within the school. The fact is that, Al Noori is a private school and if you are unhappy with the workload or rules then you should pull out your child and take them to a public school where they do a quarter of the amount of work and are less strict. Al Noori prepares its students for university and the roles they will take on in the future, so the amount of work given and the rules employed are adequate in order to benefit the student for future challenges. Al Noori is an amazing school and all the negative comments on this page are untrue. So, if you would like to spread rumours and defame the school and its experienced staff then do it face to face and not coward behind a screen.

An Opinion
Everyone have their own opinion as per the situation they are facing but we have to make an optimistic solution. For the Sake of making money and standards they are sacrificing the hardship of our children and their families. I really surprised how they use the name of Islam and Play Hippocratic Games.
It was shocking when I have seen my son?s school practice notebooks I think they have to understand when any child learning three languages at the same time then how to teach them. Normally children are spending more time with their teachers because of work obligation of the parents. We cannot lose our culture because of these incompetent types of non professional personalities.
When I talked to this new gentleman I felt may be he is biased too. I am planning to put everything on line to support my documentation and also make a formal complaint and request the concerned authorities like local members and Board of Studies for suitable action. Please let me know if any one knows how and where to complain which could be more better for our children?s future about all this with supported documentation. Also I think parents have to develop any site to make our children?s future better off.

What will a principal do if he puts his heart and soul into the school without competence and experience. If he has the competence and experience the school he came from could have appointed him as a principal. Teachers, students and coordinators are really shocked of how little knowledge he has! Quite frankly, parents need to get a grip and quit with the bad comments. From extensive experience, the parents complaining usually have children that have extreme misbehaviour issues and instead decide to dump the blame on the teachers/principal when in reality, the only thing to blame is the terrible parenting, spoiling their children rotten. And the bad comments from the students are actuallu quite hilarious. Disgruntled kids who spend more time absent than in class, before getting terrible grades and AGAIN shoving the blame on the staff. The solid reality is that the principal has invested heart and soul into the school, the teachers spend before and after school giving students extra help above and beyond needed and the education is of very high quality. The school is by no means perfect, but is by far one of the best Islamic schools in NSW, even Australia, and anyone who argues with that is simply idiotic. No further comment.

I am currently a year 11 student at Al Noori and I can assure you all that it is an excellent school. All of the teachers at the school are highly qualified and show great dedication towards their jobs. As students we are encouraged to express our thoughts and make suggestions. The principal does an amazing job and takes time out of his day to speak to EVERY SINGLE year 11 student about their progress and any improvements they need to make. We are given the opportunity and privellage of staying after school hours to obtain extra revision time which helps us greatly. I have NEVER come across in the whole 10 years that I have been at Alnoori any signs of vandalism nor do the students TRASH property. The school has invested a lot of money in providing us with the best possible resources and equipment. We have an amazing gym, big classrooms and a huge hall. Honestly whoever says it's not a good school they are just jealous. All students are encouraged to go to university and recieve outstanding results. Srs I absolutely LOVE the school and it has motivated me to achieve to best in life:)
