Reviews | By Parent - 19 Mar 2024, Rate: excellent | Excellent little independent with a great connection to the local community. Most children here will go on to the so called elite private high schools due to the affluent nature of Sydneys East, however the kids mostly seem very well mannered and grounded which is testament to the values the school helps impart. There are a few pretentious parents as you will no doubt find in any independent school but the community is general is both diverse, accepting and generous on the whole. Most importantly for me as a parent my kids are happy and love learning. | | By Parent - 12 Dec 2022, Rate: average | We are sadly disappointed in this school. I think the community is amazing and some of the teachers are amazing, but sadly I am sending my children to school to learn. I don't think it is the school it once was. Co teaching definitely suits some but not all children. If you have a very bright child or child that has special or extra needs its a great school but if you have just an average child they will get lost here. I agree with the comment about tutors above, a fair chunk of the school has outside tutors which at the fees you are paying is questionable whether the co teaching model works. There is also no sports program and the school is very relaxed on discipline. Very few grades are at capacity yet no one seems to be trying to understand why. At the price it now is per child per year I would question whether it is a good return on investment compared to alternatives.
