I removed my child from this school due to the schools lack of intervention in behavioural problems of other students and the lack of support given to children who are falling behind. My child completed a full year of prep at which time I was told he was at expected level when in fact he could barely read or write. When i addressed this issue with the school I was advised I should pay for private tutoring. I have since learned that when my childs class was taking spelling or writing tests, my child was told to sit them out and just play on the computer. I find this very unsatisfactory as how does a child learn if they do not try. I removed my son from the school and placed him in a local government school where he is now excelling in his school work.
