My child was excessively bullied through the 4 years she was there by students and teachers.even know the school is apparently “anti bully” When we brought it to the attention of the higher staff I was informed that My child apparently has a brain problem and should get it checked out. My child has continuously cried herself to sleep everyday and I had to drag her out of the parking lot and into the school. Everyday someone had a problem with her for no reason boys were make fun of her and girls would bully and degrade her. My child was also involved in a lot of “drama” with other students and made to look like the bad guy. Her “friends” would make up story’s and report her and brain wash her into thinking she was a horrible person and doesn’t deserve to live. Again we brought all of this to the attention of the staff and again we were pushed away and repetitively told that my child was not good enough to be any of there concern. We were also told that my dying family member of cancer was the reason she was not doing well which completely broke our family I soon enough removed my child from the school at the end of 2019 and have put her back into her old school the scaring left on her is traumatising. The terrifying memories of what she went through still haunt her at night. If you consider this as a school for your child please reconsider and think to yourself. “Do I want my child to be bullied repetitively.” “Do I want my child left emotionally or physically traumatised” rethink those to questions to yourself.

Trinity Lutheran College has been nothing but amazing for my family.  The moment you arrive you are greeted by everyone like you are part of the family.  The teachers go above and beyond to help your child no matter whether they are academically, musically or sport focused - this is an all round college!!!  They even treat Year 12 students as "young adults" and show them the respect they deserve. I have never seen a school Principal show the care, compassion and involvement like Dr Wong does, she attends every school event regardless of the time of day and she takes the time to get to know the students by name. Having been to other private schools on the Gold Coast, Trinity Lutheran College is in a league of it's own. The future development of the Colleges facilities (which have started and will continue into the future) are jaw dropping. The Junior Campus is like a loving little village and the school transitions the children beautifully into the Senior Campus.  School  buses run from campus to campus so that isn't even an issue - in actual fact the litte ones love the independence of catching a bus to the big school.  An added bonus is, the size of classes are small compared to other schools. If you want a down to earth, loving and caring education for your child Trinity Lutheran College is the school for your family.

The staff are strict unless the student in question's parents reside on various school committees including the school council in which case they appear to get a free rein. We removed our child from this school due to repetitive bullying and when brought to the attention of the Principal her suggestion was that we seek alternative education for our child. Our experience with the currently residing Principal indicated she was more concerned with the reputation of the school and being addressed as "Doctor" then the welfare of our child. If you intend to consider this school for your child's education I would ask this question, what is the attrition rate of the students and the teachers and then compare that to other schools on the coast. We know of 3 students that left Trinity because of bullying. There is a reason this school advertises on every second billboard and bus that passes you by, to keep up with the attrition rate. This school has the potential to be a great environment for learning, but until changes are made at the top I doubt these issues will be properly addressed. There is an old saying "The fish rots from the head"
