Reviews | By Parent - 23 Nov 2022, Rate: bad | Absolutely run from this school. Toxic culture and as the parent above mentions, the way they treat young teenagers is appalling. Wish we had never placed our year 7 child into this school. The damage done is hard to undo now. The teachers are threatening and blind religious beliefs are forced onto young minds. Terrible. | | By Parent - 12 Aug 2022, Rate: poor | This school is all good marketing. Looks very good from the outside but they don't come across with the goods when you're in. They have zero understanding of young adults. The mode is constant criticism of what kids are not doing instead of helping them achieve and progress and commending them for what they are doing well. The weight of focus on good education to punishment and discipline is all wrong. School is more focused with ties being tied properly, shirts being tucked in (anything that represents the school to the outside world) than they are about teaching kids how to read write and count. They honestly have zero concept of what makes teenagers and young adults tick and have zero understanding how to get the best out of them. Putting them down on a daily basis does not make for a positive environment. As a teacher myself it disgusts me the way they treat children at this school. They want to produce robots. Not children with ideas, values, empathy, compassion, understanding and personality. And they have zero interest also in listening to anything you have to say or contribute. Whatever they promise upon the initial visit goes to the way side once they have your enrolment and your $. Don't waste your money. | | By Parent - 06 Aug 2022, Rate: bad | Of course that employee would say that. Staff morale low, behaviour of students is appalling. Don't believe the hype. | | >>More reviews... |
