Don’t waste your money, send your children to the best public school you can find. Parent of children who attended Haileybury

Don't bother sending you child to this school. You will be spending so much money on Councillors for a very long time to try and undo the damage inflicted on your child's emotional well being. The children's behavior on the playground towards one another is shocking. This is due to the lack of supervision provided. My child is now going to a public school and doing very well.My child is learning to think and solve problems. My child's confidence has blossomed since leaving this school. Think carefully.

A very strongly academic school. If you wish for your child to do well in specifically science, maths, music or CDT this school is great. Otherwise, the humanities, arts and sports are subpar.
It's another recommendation to only send your child if they have the ability to self learn. They way they teach here creates a very dependent students with vey little intuition and ability to make decisions about their learning themselves. Teachers spoonfeed students to a point of reliance in middle school (years 5-8) and sometimes in senior school (year 9-12). It's best to consider sending you child to a public school then paying for good tuition throughout years 3-6, and applying of a scholarship for year 7 at the end of year 5. It'll save money and hopefully give your child a chance to learn how to learn independently.
Another recommendation is to send students to Keysborough campus, as it is the main campus and all the other campuses have to travel there often. This can decrease travel time and class time that can sometimes be missed in favour of travel.
The uniforms are incredible expensive and specific. Different ties for middle and senior school as well as a variety of other ties for other things. As is the case with a lot of other articles of clothing. Uniform also changes from time to time without reason.
