Reviews | By Student - 23 Jun 2022, Rate: excellent | Not an excellent school, ignore my rating | | By Parent - 13 Nov 2020, Rate: poor | The decline is apparent. The poor standard of teachers is evident, the best left as it went co-Ed. No support for mental health, ambush students without parents until they cry. PSA is a laughing stock. Save your money. | | By Parent - 12 Nov 2017, Rate: bad | The school leadership ambushed parents and students in November 2016 just two days before speech night to announce that the senior school will be going co-ed in 2018. No consultation nor consideration of parents who have chosen to send their boys to a single sex education top tier school. Almost 80 boys were withdrawn from the school between Nov 16 and Jan 17. There are less than 80 boys in grade 7 in 2017 and not many more are forecast for grade 7 in 2018 this is in comparison to Hale School with a cohort of 200 for grade 7 in 2018. A small cohort means less choice for ATAR subjects less opportunity for extra co-corricular activities and unable to field competitive teams in all inter school weekly sports competitions. Parents and staff remain very upset with the school leadership team who have lost the trust and respect of the school community. Boys and their education is suffering as a result. | | >>More reviews... |
