The Educators in my sons room were less enthusiastic and not child centered. Once, my boy was injured while playing outside in the afternoon. I was never notified about it. When I went to pick him up, they mentioned about it at 6pm. When I asked why was i notified, the teacher said very casually " I am notifying now".
I didnt find any activities been planned and implemented for my boys room. I enrolled my by here only because it is attached with a Grammar school and the educational program will be good. Turns out to be not. They sent weekly reflective journal which is useless.Often you receive this weeks journal by the end of next week. Finally, I have to pull my boy from here. Don't get mislead by the name. There are other ELC which are far better in standards than Amici. I am not sure about the Westbourne Grammar school itself. But the AMICI elc is sub-standard in terms of care. | | |
