| Reviews | By Parent - 18 Aug 2015, Rate: average | Seems to have changed quite a lot over the years. It can be somewhat pressured without necessarily meaning to be. We observed a couple of children develop emotional issues requiring quite major intervention. Strong music program but the music teacher has become increasingly grumpy with the kids. Indonesian language not particularly useful. Many good aspects, financially stable, good resources (although we'd prefer more limited technology), fun excursions and the teachers are mostly kind and respectful of the kids. Differences from public/mainstream private are probably somewhat limited. Best suited to quite academic/gifted kids, although keep in mind that these are the kids that often struggle socially/emotionally and this may be the area needing support most. | | By Alumnus - 11 Oct 2008, Rate: good | I attended Quintilian between Pre-primary and Year Seven(1997-2004), and had a very positive experience, overall. The small class sizes allowed good student-teacher relationships, and facilitated a healthy learning environment. Staff took a genuinely interested role in the lives and progress of students, on all levels, from the academic prowess, to the social situations that arose. I have only fond memories of the school, and believe it helped prepare me for further life very well. | |
