Reviews | By Parent - 14 Jun 2022, Rate: excellent | My child told me, mum, you're wasting your money! The last school I went to which was a much cheaper catholic school had higher quality around all education. | | By Parent - 28 Dec 2019, Rate: poor | Couldn't agree any more highly that the last reviewer in 2019. On paper the school with its magnificent grounds appears excellent. Scratch the surface beneath that exterior the schools academic results are dismal. The senior school seems more obsessed with sport and extra curricular activities instead of the hard graft of knuckling down and focusing on teaching. | | By Parent - 02 Nov 2019, Rate: poor | On paper looks fabulous and grounds are lovely. Too little focus on academics with excess focus on sport. House system suffocating as too many houses - students in senior school are grouped into same small house groups for 5 years (sometimes only 1 girl in the group). Head of year 12 and head of senior school have excessive focus on boys first football team to the detriment of other students. You can be lucky and get some good individual teachers but leadership and school philosophy leaves a lot to be desired In my opinion. Science and Maths are taught at a sub par level particularly in years 7-10. Not worth the high fees. After transfer to another high fee co Ed school we discovered a much higher quality of all round education. | | >>More reviews... |
