Reviews | By Parent - 30 Jun 2016, Rate: excellent | This school set my child up perfectly for high school. He made friends with a wide range of children from different backgrounds and teachers encouraged children to mix. The school has a very effective behaviour management plan in place and does not accept poor behaviour (puts kids in place early on) and generally students have been pulled into line by the end of primary school. | | By Parent - 28 Apr 2016, Rate: bad | They have no time or tolerance for children who need special care. Our child was diagnosed with autism and the teacher asked what friend til us that and commented that we rushed into medication and that our child was just "naughty", a daddy's girl, a princess and hid under the desk as a way to dominate the children and gain their full attention and that this was not due to anxiety, just naughtiness. Another teacher told us my child was just young and silly and they would "snap out of it". The name calling behaviour by teachers is terrible. The lack of understanding is terrible. When we notified of our intention to leave we received no contact from the office at all. Just one less naughty child they have to deal with. My only regret in life is that I subjected my child to such a damaging environment for far too long. If you have a child requiring a bit of extra help, DO NOT send them here! | |
