this school is horrible if youre actually looking to learn. bullying is horrible, some teachers are nice but others are just shit. most teachers are more concerned on uniform than your learning. you have to rely on luck that you'll be placed in the top classes if you want to get anything done.

I am a former student at this school and can confirm the bullying, intimidation, rubbish teachers and woeful reputation of this school. I definitely recommend parents AVOID this school at all costs. Although I was there many years ago i doubt anything has changed. I was bullied at this school as I came from another area. Teachers were aware but did nothing or turned a blind eye and I still live with the mental scars today which has included 2 suicide attempts. This school should never be considered in any way as a safe or leliable institution to send children - it needs to be condemned for the garbage it is.

I’m currently attending the school. This school has overall improved my grades from C’s and D’s to C’s and B’s. Staff are really respectful and interact with us. Some of my teachers are really committed to what they teach. Unlike some post teachers handle disrespectful students. Year advisors are really engaging and really try and help students through high school. Although students can get a little bit out of hand. Other then that 100/10.

I can see the different opinions but it isn't about the school, more about the people in it. Some of the students are disrespectful while others are caring and considerate. The teachers can be understanding or harsh. It depends on your point of view.
My experience has been good. I like it here and I think it's way better than some other school options.

My child goes to model farms. It’s the best school. She was outstanding in her academics in school and on her merit she got selective high school in year 10. Teachers are very good and supportive. I highly recommend Model farms high school, Baulkham hills.

THIS IS A TERRIBLE SCHOOL! DO NOT SEND UR KID THERE! My daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis while attending. We informed the school on how we would need to be getting a spinal fusion surgery. In the process we would need the school to help her get through this tuff time. My daughter needed 6 weeks off school to recover and bringing a roller bag to school. Once my daughter had the surgery, school was to commence a week after the surgery so she had 5 weeks off. THE FIRST WEEK SHE WASNT THERE THEY DECIDED TO CALL THE POLICE ON US! We informed the school before hand about everything going on with the spinal fusion surgery. Several emails went back and forth. Once the police arrive they knocked on my door explaining the kid had to come to school. I explained that my girl just had surgery. They then left and told the school. After the 5 weeks, my daughter went back to school. On her first day people pushed her around which gave her more pain than she was already experiencing. We told teachers but they just shrugged it off. On her 3rd day at school, a student punched her in the back and neck during class. The student then proceeded to tell her how her how ugly she was and that she should die. My daughter was in pain and her metal rod in her back broke. The teacher didn’t care and she was in so much pain. The best way to describe the pain was “excruciatingly painful”. The kids just laughed at her. The teacher then noticed what was going on and informed the office. They then called an ambulance. For the 30 mins she was in pain, the kids taunted her about how she was dying. She wanted to end it right then in their but she kept fighting. My daughter was taken to hospital and had undergone a second spinal fusion surgery. We have since moved her to another school. I wish no other parents to go through this!

I’ve sent my 12 year old child in the school because we had no other option because we weren’t in the catchment for a school we wanted our child to go to but then he went their for a couple of months and come back in an outstanding way that we felt Model farms was the best school for him.

Extensive bullying occurs constantly at this school with little help from teachers. Staff focuses on uniform standards rather than education and wellbeing. The school has many policies which force students into a miserable high school experience - I moved to a different local school and actually enjoyed learning and going to school much more! Overall MFHS is a school to send your child to if you would like them to become stuck up and full of attitude, or on the other hand, be bullied and belittled by staff and students and having a miserable experience. Good luck to any child being sent to this horrible school!

This school is shocking! So many of my colleagues are rude and treat students like rubbish. Academic and wellbeing of students is least of the schools concern. Uniform is the only priority from most staff

My child use to attend this school and had very bad experiences with bullying and the teachers did not care about what was happening to my daughter so I made her move, this school is not a good school to be sending your kids.

I attend this school and i agree this school is one of the worst schools to attend I do not recommend this school at all, the teachers barley help people with their work and do not care for the students that need extra help except for a few teachers that are amazing but the school deals with bullying and people being rude to others and the teachers not caring, the students are even worse with most of them being rude stuck up brats and having a attitude with everyone. This school is also very old and dirty with dust everywhere and lots of gum surrounding every corner of the school, the place needs a huge upgrade as it’s old and disgusting. This school is terrible and I don’t recommend at ALL to send your children to this school.

This school is a very unfair school which has very negative effects on students including myself. Alot of the mixed classes get rubbish treatment compared to the top classes in so many ways. My self being in some top classes and some mixed, I have many experiences. Being in the mixed class, you will be put in to a old, broken room and receive poor education as if the teachers do not even care. One of my many experiences include, our class being disadvantaged in a test through broken equipments, and not being able to receive a fair chance even after explaining and complaining to the teacher. I ask myself, "Would this have been the same if I was in the top class?". I asked the teacher to do something about it, but they say "theres nothing we can do, then ask me to get special medical help because of the broken eequipment which I am somehow supposed to deal with. It is unfair. So unfair. This has happened many times and I really think that this needs to be fixed. Our school "follows" respect. But what respect did I receive from the teachers? Just because I am not in the top class!!?! I'm also noting that many teachers are great and FAIR, but... Majority seems to bring down the lower students even more and only listen and focus on top students. Please take note of this. I am really disappointed and embarrassed that I am attending a school that lies, disrespects and unfairly treats the students. Treating the lower rank students like a bunch of animals. Please take note, I am very disappointed.

This school definitely has one of the lowest reputations and is full of lots of rude horrible students that make the other students put up with their bullying. Most of the teachers are really not that good at all, with some being extremely bad!!!! Some teachers are amazing however, but that is only a few. It is also very old and disgusting, and it needs a major upgrade to it throughout. Overall, Model farms is definitely not the best school, and definitely not getting a Five star rating from me!!!!!!

Year advisors belittle and humiliate students in front of others.
If you want your children to be supported through high school choose a different school to send them too.

My son recently visited this school with his school for a game of friendly volleyball. He took his watch off for the game and someone stole it with his other pair of uniform pants. When he approached a teacher she didn't even say anything. This watch has a lot of monetary as well as sentimental value.

As a student who previously attended a private catholic high school, I wasn't expecting Model Farms to be much. Yet, I was completely wrong. The grounds are lovely and spacious, making it a great site for various sports & events. Lots of involvement with surrounding schools (e.g. sports, debating & mentoring primary school children). The staff are always willing to help out students whether it be in terms of academia or emotionally. Most people are friendly and well-mannered. Uniform is good & overall appearance of Model Farms is presentable. Coming from a private school background, myself anf my parents were really impressed with this school. Goes to show that you don't have to pay thousands of dollars per year to give your child a quality education.

The teachers don't do anything to help your education all they care about is the way you dress and making sure they take your phone off you all staff there are terrible and they need to get rid of the principle and deputies

Could have given it an average or above average review based on students and class room environment however the school is let down by rude, incompetent office staff, lazy and obnoxious teachers, a socialist principal, lack of facilities and amenities, poor organization of certain events etc.
