If I could go lower than bad then I would... Where do I start? They do not care even when you are paying a fortune to have multiple children here. They do not offer what they should and do not support - even top Year 12 students get treated like garbage. Unfortunately there are some amazing staff here that are let down by many, many ignorant and incompetent teachers who are not Christian at all - Anglican ethos is a joke! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY here! Trust me you will regret it and it will be like burning money... I'm extremely disappointed with this business.

I have just witnessed an example of extremely poor sportsmanship.
They just played against Redeemer in the Grade 9 Hockey finals and there were a number of girls who obviously do not understand how to play fairly. I witnessed an example where 2 of the girls (1 from each team) collided and fell on the ground as you do. The Canterbury player took a swipe at the Redeemer player with her tags and narrowly missed her head, she then swung her stick at her. This is an example of the typical sportsman like behaviour (or lack there of) of how they played the game. At the end of the game I also saw signs from the Redeeemer players where they had scratches as the Canterbury girls didn't shake hands but scratched and abused. Canterbury College, and in particular the hockey coach who would have seen this over the season, should be ashamed of itself if this is the attitude it is instilling in it's students. Not a good image for the school......

Beware of this school it may sound like a nice school but it is the total opposite there is rules so you cant leave without giving the a terms notice or you still have to pay for the upcoming term. This school is a business and is not the environment that I would want to send my child too. There is bullying in every grade that is not even being looked at or noticed. Their policies would be great if they would follow them. This is not a calm nurturing environment.Some teachers have favorites and treat everyone who is not their favorite like a piece of trash some will even mark your child down because they don't like them. This school should not be a private school it is worse then some state schools. The behavior of the students can be absolutely disgusting.

this is a business not a school, all they care about is the money,
They screwed me over 4 weeks from graduating and yes i may have screwed up but there reaction was over the top, saying to keep it quite and not tell anyone why i wouldn't be returning to school so there reputation wouldn't be harmed,having secret meetings outside of school hours so know one would know whats going on. such a great school when grade 11 students can smoke weed on campus in the toilets without getting caught,when people attend classes of their face drunk or drugged up and the teachers don't even notice, and where if you do extra curricular activities or are good at sport you don't get into as much trouble as a student who isn't good at sport, All the students have their heads up their asses and back stab each other every day of the week.

Canterbury College is a great school, facilities are great, teaching quality is very good and overall feel of the School. Love the 4 period, 3 breaks a day system. Wide range of subjects, authority and vocational and excellent facilities. Very good for sport, involved in TAS. Senior Students are going to Cambodia as aid workers. Overall absolutely loved the school, ever since day one in grade 8.
