i hate the students in this school, they are so condescending and there is constant vaping and bullying in the school. There are only a handful of decent teachers and the deputy principal shows no compassion to any students whatsoever. Try to get into normo or another school. To hell with this school.

I kind of feel like going after all these reviews but disappointingly I didn't put it down on the selective test schools.

I recently graduated this school, achieving a considerable rank in the HSC. Gosford was a school focused on both academics and the high school culture and spirit. There were many opportunities for students to branch out into other interests (e.g. sports). However, there is a lot of pressure to perform well academically, and more attention is given to those who already perform well or engage well with the teacher in class. There were definitely good student-teacher relationships formed, especially in the senior years. Socially, Gosford was a bit imbalanced and there was a hierarchy that quickly developed, that made sure students knew their place in the school environment. In saying this, I always felt safe and comfortable around both my peers and teachers.

Manufactures students to only care about careers, nothing else matters to them but good grades. Not at all a nurturing environment. Its the kids who top the class who receive help, the rest drop right through the system.
Unfortunate waste of what could be one of the best schools on the central coast.
