This school allowed me to genuinely enjoy my education. School at Swinburne was not a chore, but it was something I genuinely looked forward to every day. I felt as though I could be myself in such a respectful environment. Teachers genuinely care about students and they hold a much more personal and invested relationship with students than teachers at other schools. The teachers at Swinburne work with students rather than against them. The school is effective in preparing students for tertiary education because of the casual environment and the extra freedom and responsibility granted to students. Enjoying my education at Swinburne made the difference in my results as my enthusiasm towards the school reflected in all my work. So much gratitude towards the teachers and school.

Every school should provide the same experience as what I was able to enjoy at Swinburne. Teachers who REALLY care and extend their help far beyond the classroom walls, great facilities in all areas of the curriculum, provides several subjects that aren't generally offered at schools and allows students to really excel in the areas they're interested in rather than assuming everyone will adapt to the rigid core subjects offered at other schools.
The timetable week is set up really well and with Wednesdays off it allows time for you to engage with teachers and take your learning into your own hands. Swinburne really changed my life and having a school so friendly and available is the only reason I managed to finish high school! I still keep in touch with my teachers and am so thankful for everything this school offered me. Will continue to recommend this school to people for many years to come!
