We have just been informed that we will be losing 2 teachers to be replaced by a teacher and principal who I have been told did not do a lot for the school or the community the last time they were here. Under our principal this year we have participated in several community based activities, raised $4000.00 for Jump Rope for heart, Jeans for genes, we are now part of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen garden programme. a swim programme with a swimming carnival. Orange day - day of action against bullying... Just to name a few of the activities through out the year... We are losing a male teacher who has been a great role model for our boys.. why is this because of the cuts the government has made within the territory. For these teachers to be told officially 2 weeks before end of term does not give them or the us as a community time. Is there any recourse where we as a community can do something about this decision??? Are these people just a name and number to the ministry??? Have they truly looked into their decision to replace these teachers with ones who have been here before and left? Why did they leave and under what circumstances? What lasting impression did they leave? Did the children grow and excel under them not just in the classroom, but in the sports arena? Too many questions not enough answers it is peoples livelihood and our children's
future that is in question???

Everyone Mr Russel was the principal I am now at the end of year 8 studying at Euroa secondry college I hope all is well and I highly recommend people use yulara school in the future I hope you get this message
