I went to Henry Kendall high school for only 2 terms, I was bullied and kids were out of control. It was really hard to concentrate in class because all of these kids weren’t listening and talking the whole way through. Ever since I started going to Henry Kendall high school I have been going through depression, anxiety and trust issues. The teachers are completely hopeless and don’t educate the kids properly and I told the principal and deputies about what was going on but they did absolutely nothing. I swear these teachers don’t know how to educate the kids. If you are thinking of sending your child to Henry Kendall high school because they have been bullied at there old high school then think again

Everything was terrible, the students teachers just everything

Although people say this is an amazing school don't listen to them this school is more about it's ACADEMIC scores then the mental health of the students. I was bullied b many students at this school and the deputies did nothing. I have never been to a more stuck up school before in m life and when a deputy can stand up in front of the year and say that there is no bullying then they are on a different planet. I came to my deputy with my problems and they did nothing I went through some mental health problems. The people who had been bullied did not get punished and I was getting in trouble my parents went to m deputy and she still did nothing. If anyone is thinking of sending their children here because the at being bullied think again.

I went to this school for a period of time and found it EXTREMELY hard to concentrate in class, and the other students didn't care about it. I really disliked this school.

It's not the schools fault if the child misbehaves and doesn't pay attention in class, thus not learning content. Henry Kendall has some of the best HSC teachers within the area. With the departments forced combination of Gosford Public School and Henry Kendall High, numbers have reduced allowing for smaller class sizes. Teachers are judged too harshly for poor behaved students with no desire to learn or further their education. You cannot force a student to learn if they are unwilling. As a year 12 student who has attended this school for all of my high school years, I have achieved extremely pleasing results with the aid of the staff. School is what you make of it, a reputation means nothing in the scheme of things and Henry Kendall has aided, encouraged and refined my academic abilities. It's easy to look from the outside but asking the students who are mature enough to holistically understand the schooling system and what works in education is where you will find the truth. Not in the statistics or the tellings of a junior student. Henry Kendall is good if you actually want to learn and utilise the resources of the teachers.
